Home away from home
Judie and Len were amazing hosts. She always knew what to recommend in the area we were going to explore and he always had great stories to tell. Our family enjoyed their company and accommodations and our stay truly felt like a home away from home. Our stay here enhanced our trip to Nova Scotia and would definitely book again. Thank you Judie and Len for everything l!

Hospitality Plus !
Upon arrival at Casa Moana , we were met at the door with smiling face and warm welcome .lovely older home with delightful ambience. Home was convenient to areas we wanted to visit. A pleasant surprise was an invitation to fire pit social. Can’t find words to properly describe our stay . Judie is a Super Super Hostess, knowledgeable of area and excellent guidance for best places to go. . House is very clean and comfortable . We would stay there again ,

Judy and Lenn are awesome!
Two nights in such a quiet and cozy home. Decorated with maritime charm and not a detail was missed. Lovely hot shower, hot tea and Judy’s bran muffins made a great start to the morning. Lenn enjoyed sharing stories over the breakfast table while Judy met our needs to a T! I slept better than I do at home! We were all happy with our stay and would definitely come back. Thank you so much for your lovely, welcoming and warm hospitality! Shelley and Rik 😃

Quick stay
We got in late and left quite early for the Yarmouth Ferry, but Julie was wonderful to work with. Everything was just as expected and the space was very generous, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again -Super friendly folks!

Warm and Welcoming
Judie and Len were very welcoming and provided great ideas to experience the Digby area. Breakfast was wonderful. Our family enjoyed our own spaces with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms in the guest space upstairs. We didn’t get to enjoy the deck as much due to weather, but we experienced 2 fabulous sunsets! Thanks again Judie and Len!

A great place to stay!
We had a great stay at Judy and Len's. Judy communicated well with us prior to and during our stay, they were very friendly and accommodating of our young kids. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated with an amazing view of the bay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were able to do lots of exploring around the area given the location. Completely charmed and would stay here again in an instant!

Pleasant B&B in Barton
The breakfast was ample with delicious homemade granola and muffins. Our host Judy was very helpful with recommending places to visit. The 3 bathrooms and bedrooms worked well for our party of 6 adults. Enjoyed Judy's collection of artwork and the deck.

Beautiful home by the Bay of Fundy
This is a beautiful older home that has been decorated and furnished with much care and love. The grounds were beautiful also and the outside views very pretty. We had comfortable beds and the bathrooms worked well for our needs. Our host was very helpful and friendly. She was also very accommodating when we arrived at 10 pm. Our breakfasts were very nice and we would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to come to Nova Scotia in the future.

Traveling through Nova Scotia
Very nice VRBO. Suggest asking guuests if they want such items as juice for breakfast. Not all of us wanted juice but felt obligated to drink it since it was prepoured. Display of "smelly" soaps for sale in the kitchen was not appreciated. Smell was Too Much especially when eating breakfast.

Thank you for the review. I guess just leaving the juice untouched would be my clue to not serve any the next day and thank you for your suggestion. This is the first complaint of the soap as I had only heard positive comments from other guests. The soap is an all natural product I believe in, that a friend makes. If I had known I could have moved it to another location.

Stellar Host
Casa Moana is truly an amazing home to come to. It is historic, stylish, funky, enchanting, comfortable, maritime and overall a most enjoyable home/cottage where one can sit back and relax. Situated on Highway 101, the home has a classic view of Saint Mary's Bay Leading out into the Bay of Fundy flanked by the Digby neck. The morning fog was mystical as we sat in the sun porch and watched it ascend as the mornings grew on. The same views are seen from the sitting room and the deck. The deck is spacious and comfortable with deck furniture, a Webster bar-b-cue and a fire table. Casa Moana is only a ten minute drive into Digby and surrounding areas. Couldn't ask for more. Judie, our host, is more than a super host. She is stellar! Great conversation, laughter and sharing of ideas. Judie cared for the comfort of her guests, suggested places to eat and visit making our stay memorable. Judie spoiled us with daily breakfasts that were nutritional and beyond tasty. The table was beautifully set every morning and proved to be an inviting way to start each day. Thank you Judie for a remarkably enjoyable stay. We are already chatting about our next venture to Casa Moana and maybe some good cooking together with our host!

Friendly and Quaint
We stayed here two nights and it was a great location for exploring the western side of the province. Judee had an unexpected appointment the first night and we were met by both Holly and Bernadette who showed us the ropes. Accommodations were lovely though our friends were bothered a bit by the highway noise. All in all a great place and Judee is a wonderful host!

Hi Ron. Sorry to hear your friends had issues with the noise. Not all bedrooms are positioned facing the highway and I believe yours was the more quiet one. We do have earplugs for your friend's room. Thank you for your review.

Friendly, comfortable home with everything you need, including a cat!
We had an amazing time staying at Len and Judies' home. Their hospitality and attention to detail is exceptional. The three double bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Each has its own bathroom, two with showers. Breakfast was delicious with home made bread, granola, jams, etc. I would definitely recommend that you stay here if you are visiting the area. We loved it!

Relaxed, comfortable and super friendly hosts made our stay most enjoyable. This location makes it easy to visit both the Acadian shore and the Annapolis Basin. Judie and Len are very knowledgeable about the area and gave great travel tips. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay!!! Very welcoming hosts!
What a delightful stay with Judie and Len! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their tidy and charmingly decorated house "Casa Moana". The string of lights at the entrance were such a welcoming beacon; the bed was so comfortable! But the highlight for us? The delicious breakfast! Fresh bread and muffins made by ever-hospitable Judie! The house is situated nearby many local attractions (Digby, Annapolis Royal, Digby Neck, Bear River, etc). Wish we could have enjoyed the view from their deck longer. But we'll be back! Thanks Judie & Len!

Excellent stay!
Our family had the best holiday at Casa Moana. Judie was an excellent host; friendly, helpful with recommendations, great with the kids and very accommodating. The rooms are very charming, comfortable and spacious, with all sorts of little extras. The location was excellent for exploring the Digby area, as well as Annapolis Royal, and the views were stunning. Judie even set up croquet for our family which the kids loved. This was our family's first time staying at a B&B and we found there was so much added to our experience by our hosts that we will definitely visit again!

Best hosts ever and beautiful house
We had the all 2nd floor for us. Very clean and beautiful. Everything we need. Judie made our breakfast and also some cookies at the end of the day, it is so delicious, we just loved. Judie and Len are very nice, helped us to find some interesting places to visit. They were also very nice with our 2 year old daughter, went to the library to get some books for her, put some outlet protection around our rooms, find some coloring to do, a busy bee to play with. Well, I probably forget other things as they are particularly attentive to their guests. I would definitely recommend them.

Amazing weekend getaway
We had such a lovely time at Judie and Len’s. They made us excellent breakfast, generously allowed us to use their kitchen to cook other meals and above all were so kind and fun to talk to. We had a great time getting to know them. It’s like a bnb but better because you have the whole upper story and a tv room to yourself and have the benefits of using their kitchen if you’re so inclined. The views from the balcony are stunning and there is lots to see and do in the area. We truly felt welcomed into a home, but at the same time our privacy and space was very well respected. We would highly recommend staying with Judie and Len!

Whale watching
We booked this property due to it’s location close to Digby Neck for whale watching. It is ideally located. The property is exactly as described in the details. A really interesting, historic place with a wonderful view from its back deck. Judie and Len are welcoming and very happy to help with ideas and suggestions for places to visit locally. Breakfast is a great bonus, Judie bakes the best bread. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore this coastline.

Full of charm and warmth, clean and very comfy!
A wonderful location to stay and explore the Digby/Bear River/Yarmouth area. We used it as our home base and took day trips to different areas. A beautiful house full of charm and warmth, the hosts are wonderful people and provided excellent guidance to eating/exploring/shopping/sightseeing. The house is large, spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfy, the bathrooms clean and stocked with items you may need. Even the kids enjoyed staying here! Yes to Casa Moana!
Judie and Lynn were amazing hosts. Wonderful casual breakfasts with them to review the previous day and plan the present day. They gave us some great ideas. Incantevole sistemazione alternativa all'hotel, un B&B con la proprietaria che ti cucina la colazione in prima persona! Fantastica location, villetta vecchio stile con panoramica sul mare, (che tramonti emozionanti!) a due passi da Digby. Camere comode, letti soavi, Abbiamo pernottato in 6 e avevamo 3 bagni! 2 camere con il bagno in camera. La proprietaria gentilissima ti accoglie personalmente, senza problemi di orario, dato che vive in un'ala della villa stessa, ti chiede cosa preferisci per colazione e poi lo preparerà sul momento per gli ospiti! Una bomboniera per una tappa rilassante ed interessante.
