Hotellet ligger väldigt bra till. Väldigt vänlig och hjälpfull reception. Bad om tyst rum och rummet var tyst fast det vätte ut mot stationen på 4:e våningen.Lite gammaldags charm och lite opraktiskt med kontakter men trevligt och estetiskt.

Centralt beläget hotel med parkering i anslutande P-hus. Hotellet erbjöd även två dagars gratis lokaltrafikbiljett för att kunna åka stadens bussar och spårvagnar, super!

Our concierge Fraser was very accommodating. I’m very happy with their service. This hotel is perfect! Basel SBB was just right across the property so eventhough we woke up late for our trip, we still made it on time😁 would’ve loved to have stayed longer because I really loved our room but sadly we had to go. I most definitely recommend this property!

먼저 오전 11시에도 체크인을 할 수 있도록 도와주셔서 감사했습니다. 그렇게 일찍 체크인이 될 것으로 기대할 수 없었는데 체크인이 되다니! 대단히 편안하고 행복했습니다. 룸이 상당히 넓은 편이고, 깔끔했어요. 직원분들도 전부 친절했고, 조식도 훌륭했습니다. 특히 체크아웃 할 때 16일은 여정을 마무리하는 일정이었는데, 미리 아셨는지.. 직원분이 다음 일정을 물어봐주시고 편안한 여정이 되길 바란다는 인사를 해주셔서 조금 감동적이기도 했어요. 호텔이라는 곳이 이런 곳이었군요.. 우리나라 호텔들은 가격대는 비슷한데 왜 이렇게 별로일까.. 이제 국내 호텔로 여행가는 일은 거의 없을거에요. 돈이 아깝습니다. 국내 여행은 당일치기로, 호텔 투숙 여행은 스위스로. 여러가지 감정들을 느끼게 해준 호텔과 직원들에게 감사의 인사를 드립니다.

Fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Sr. Sebastian ! Conseguimos acesso ao quarto 2h antes do horario oficial de check in. Licalizacao extremamente conveniente para quem viaja de trem pois fica bem em frente a estação. Fica a apenas 8 min a pe do centro mais turistico de basel . Quanto bem confortavel, ducha excelente e cafe da manha magnifico !

Next to Basel SBB. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Spacious clean room and the bed is so comfortable! Location very convenient with lots of dining options, large supermarket, shopping district and a marketplace. Highly recommended!

Two day stay whilst on a rail journey from Budapest to UK. Hotel staff very friendly and informative. Quality of food was excellent and well served. Very convenient location for transport links.

Beautiful and conveniently located
Hotel Victoria was in a great location to use the vast tram system in Basel. It is directly across from the train station and there are quite a few shops inside the station itself. Fraser at the front desk was very helpful to answer my MANY questions about the train station, fun activities (I was expecting to go to the museum, but it was closed on Mondays), and recommended a restaurant for my cuisine preferences. I really enjoyed talking to him and was very informative. My room was cozy and had all the necessities, plus some extras like slippers and toiletries. There were some hairs left on the bathroom floor, but everything else looked very clean. The room I was in required the use of stairs (4 or 5). One of my bags was heavy and would have preferred a ramp to easily move it up to the room.

vernight stay in Basel
We just stayed one night in Hotel Victoria on our way home from a rail trip. We had asked for a quiet room as we knew it was very close to the main station, and we were given a lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel. The hotel was was very clean and comfortable and the staff all spoke excelllent English and were very helpful. We would definitely stay at Hotel Victorias again if we return to Basel
