“Michelle was the best host I’ve had in my travels yet, and the hotel was perfect. Everything was clean and updated. the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the AC was cold. I had challenges figuring out transportation to my next location and Michelle was more than accommodating even making calls and getting quotes and arranging cabs to airport for me since my phone was not local. I was also lucky to join in on the friday karaoke night in her restaurant/bar right beside the hotel. Haha...

“Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did.”

“Hotel was run down. It was like a 3 world country dive.”

“Property was very nice, there's no flyers with advertisements for restaurants nearby. You must have your own transportation unless you have a chauffeur to drive you around.”
