“On a flying visit to Bergerac, we were looking for a quiet hotel to stay two nights. Luckily we came across La Carreterie. It was ideal for what we required and our host Thierry went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. Really enjoyable breakfast. Hotel has been renovated to a high quality quaint French country style hotel. Look forward to returning ”

“I would highly recommend Les Magnolias. We stayed in the apartment and it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the river, which is great for enjoying a glass of local wine in the evenings. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel at home. The resident cats are friendly too. Breakfast is well catered and if you have the apartment and want to cook, there is a supermarket 2 minutes away by foot. I also highly recommend some of the bakery’s in town as we had the best almond croissants ever!...

“When I got there, I was told that the place was fully booked. Even though I have a booking confirmation. The ground looks very nice.”

“Had a great one night stay here. When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly manner and were soon offered two bikes to explore the local area. Despite this being a bed and breakfast, we were offered an evening meal. The proprietors made changes to accommodate my pescatarian diet. Wonderful meal with most of the products grown in their garden. We asked to see their dog, and we’re soon throwing a ball for “Sister”, their black Scottish Terrier. “This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! ”

“For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. ”
