“Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. ”

“A cottage well off the beaten track. No TV and wifi for 2 nights. Then it rained and the cloud was low so sightseeing was out of the question. Spent the day blobbing out reading and DVD watching. Best possible place to spend a day doing this.”

“Perfect from check in to check out. Staff were both professional and friendly. Rooms were super comfortable and well appointed. The grounds were lovely to walk around and lots of extra activities - free slushies, marshmellow toasting etc ( it was during school holidays) We had dinner in the Harvest restaurant- outstanding. Food was wonderful, high class service and lovely ambience with a wonderful pianist. It's also worth having breakfast at the hotel. We wish we had stayed longer but will be...
