The floor is slippery, and the smell of the room is quite strong probably from some sort of detergent. I can endure for 1 night but no more than that. Staff was kind.

The room/bathroom was surprisingly clean and tidy considering the hotel building, elevators, hallways were very old, old carpets, dirty walls, in need of repairs and improving. Nice staff but we didnt really intract with them much. The place/location and even other "visitors' didn't look necessarily like tourists. We bumped into some ladies coming into the hallway, into a room with a grocerystore cart and bags of stuff in it, not necessarily groceries as if they lived in the building. Didn't feel very much like a hotel but a live-in motel.

The property shows its age. The room was fine to lay our heads but step outside and it’s smelly, dirty and run down. The fact that they have a pool, but guests don’t have access is just silly. Door lock was broken, alarm clock broken.. and replacement wasn’t available when I asked. Not staying again at this location and would recommend against for others that can afford a little more.

This was the cheapest place to stay in the Boston area so we knew it wasn’t going to be great. The room was not very clean - for example, there were weird white stains on the desk. The coffee machine was full of dust so we asked the front desk for a new one, which they quickly provided. On the first night, another guest’s dog was barking in the hallway at around 10:30 pm. Other than that, it was quiet. The area is not as sketchy as some reviews made it seem, and there are lots of stores and restaurants conveniently nearby. The hotel is in poor condition - there were water marks on the ceiling, peeling paint on the walls, the mattress was old, and there were rips in the bedding. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The hotel itself was a little dirty, hair in the bathtub small things like that. Lots of cigarette smell in the hallway. However it’s very close to the train station which was convenient for getting in and out of Boston. Our keys also stopped working the third day of our trip and we had to wait a little while for that to get fixed bc there was only one person working. The staff who helped us however, genesis was fantastic! Super friendly and accommodating. They were hands down the best part and face of the hotel.

Made a mistake staying here. Hallways smelled of marijuana. Elevator and “lobby” in very poor condition. Noise from radiator made it difficult to hear television. It is inexpensive for a reason! Never again!
