The property was quiet and clean however the website is completely deceiving. There is NO Spa and NO piano bar. The staff aren’t even there from 10p-8am. Very disappointing.

Let's be clear on this property; it is not a typical hotel. There is nothing full service about the property. We stayed two nights and did not get service in our room. There is not a restaurant, bar, or full time staff onsite. The housekeeper did stop by at 8 AM on our departure day to give us an unwanted wake-up call. Apparently, the walls are very thin. We had one of two penthouses and had a couple of friends over to visit. The person in the penthouse next door starts beating on the wall and 10 minutes later someone shows up and says we are being too loud. No one was yelling, no loud music, nothing more than some adults talking. Some sound proofing needs to be done so guests do not get bothered for talking in their room. It is ridiculous. There were three TV's with a stack of remotes. Only the bedroom TV had cable. Not sure what the other TV's are for. The towels are lower quality and terribly scratchy. There were no tissues in the bathroom. The shower did not have a door or curtain so you were freezing half the time while showering. I would not recommend this property unless you want to pay boutique pricing and get little value in return.

Very nice front desk clerk; service was good. Room was clean, interesting & with a ton of space; could have been 10x better with some higher end finishes and better soundproofing. Also - there is no spa here.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kentucky Grand! One of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at! They have huge suites, excellent staff & amazing location right in the downtown area! We walked across the street to their partner restaurant Hcikoy & Oak and it was phenomenal! Cliffs of Moher & Insomnia cookies were also a hit! Will be coming back soon!

There is no spa. Piano bar was closed. No amenities outside of the room you are staying. Huge waste of money. Stay somewhere else!

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your experience, which is rare at The Kentucky Grand Hotel. We are consistently rated as one of the best boutique hotels in the state and the entire southeast, with the largest suites and the best views. Our restaurant and bar is now located directly across the street at our partner establishment, Hickory & Oak, which is one of the finest steakhouses in Southern Kentucky. We are surrounded by the city's best parks, downtown shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions. Our spa has yet to re-open since Covid, but that has been well publicized on our website, so it is no surprise to any of our current guests.

The suite was lovely and clean. Nice view from our room. Bedroom remote wasn’t working properly. No one at the desk when we went to check in. I had missed calls from them, so perhaps they were trying to tell me they would not be available. They were there about 4. Very nice.

This hotel is like nothing else you’ll find in Bowling Green. It’s a posh little boutique hotel that elevates the entire downtown area. Our suite had an awesome view of the town square and the rates are extremely reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend!

Classic Gem in city
Wishing for more than one night! lovely spacious suite with large windows to enjoy the views. Very well appointed decor and comfortable furniture. Location was close to green spaces and fountain square. Best pizza EVER at Alley Pub and Pizza four blocks away made for a nice relaxing evening for tired travelers.

This was our second time staying here. There are some facility concerns that need to be addressed by the staff/owner. First of all the hot water heater isn’t big enough to fill the bathtubs with hot water and the water pressure is poor. Second in the second-story Lincoln suite there was a leak coming from the ceiling in the shower around the light. This was extremely concerning this leak did not impact our stay, however. We were also disappointed that the piano bar is now only open for special/private events. I feel this location has a lot of potential, but it’s not utilizing it’s on site. Resources adequately. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and the rooms are very nice.

The suite was amazing and different from others. Extremely clean and well maintained. But the check in service lacked a lot. We had never stayed there and they couldnt find our reservation then told us the room and code but never how to get there or where it was. And going in after hours was a little spooky. The back isnt lit up very well and any one can walk up on you. But once we found the room it was amazing. Just the check in service could be a little better.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday this past weekend. We stayed in the Metropolitan Suite and it was as close to PERFECT as any hotel stay I've ever had! The room was immaculately clean when we arrived! The bed was so comfy and the linens smelled super clean. The suite is super spacious—like the size of a LARGE one-bedroom apartment. This suite could have easily accommodated a small group (3-4) friends. No huge complaints other than we could never find the remote for the TV in the bedroom and I ran out of hot water while taking a bath. Also, Expedia lists that this site has continental breakfast and that is incorrect. Other than that, I would say it’s perfect!!

Pleasant 1 night stay. Clean facilities and room. Exactly as described. More spacious than expected. Restaurant and bar is closed except for weekends. Staff leaves after 8p. Key to get in back door in parking lot behind building after hours. Good views of park across the street. Several options for dining and shopping within 1/2 mile. Reduced score for minor inconveniences … light bulb missing/out, small TVs, water not hot enough. Will stay here again.

The only place in Bowling Green that my wife and I will stay. However, after waking up @ 7 Saturday morning my wife realized the creamer for the coffee in the room had gone bad, she called and asked for a replacement from the kitchen. Told the kitchen didn’t open until 8, we ask that creamer be brought up… we left at about 10:30 after drinking our black coffee.

Good = Very attractive suite, large comfortable bed, nice view of the park across the street. Bad = (1) Confusing "instructions" ("come to the lobby for a door key", but the key was actually in the room). (2) Greeted with a sheet of paper enumerating the "charges" if we took a robe, sheets, didn't return the key, etc. Not very welcoming, and I had no plans to steal your things. (3) Expedia indicated a Continental Breakfast, the confirming email from the property promised a "breakfast basket", there were neither.

Very beautiful place, and great location. Close to a lot—baseball, arts, there was even a concert in the park across the street. The only concern I had was the air was off when I went in my room, and took o er night to go down two degrees. All in all, I would definitely come back!!

Beautiful building. Good location. Negatives: very few towels in the bathroom, although when we asked for more, they arrived quickly but with hotel this nice/expensive, you would think the space would be equipped. We were 2 A and 1 K and there were 2 towels. No shower curtain or door, so water got everywhere. TVs stopped working and while we didn't call anyone (it was 10pm) it was a bit annoying for this to happen for the $$$. Room was beautiful though and the piano bar was really nice. Kind of felt like the space was so nice that the management could rest their laurels on that. We had better equipped rooms at a Comfort Inn & the like

Our room was very large and beautiful. However the location is run more like an Air Bnb. There was no one at the front desk to check us in. Waited for about 30 minutes for the club manager to come check us in. No breakfast offerings. Restaurant not open weekdays.

Great hotel with a great location…Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I brought it to the attention of Steve the manager who offered to credit a night stay because of this. Unfortunately, no credit was ever given. I emailed their email address from their website, but nothing has happened???

I liked the spaciousness of the suite, it was amazing. I liked the overall vibe and feel of the Hotel, it was very classy. The bed was super comfortable and I liked the toiletries provided. I was unaware of a needed reservation for dinner at the restaurant, and it was closed due to an event anyway. So I had to eat appetizers in the bar next door. The jetted tub was one of the reasons I chose this hotel room, but the hot water ran out before the tub could fill up past the jets, and then drained by itself while I waited for more hot water (drain does not fully plug I'd assume). The room can get very noisy due to upstairs traffic, as well as road traffic below, but overall a decent stay for the price. If the prices were to rise due to season, I would recommend installing inline water heaters for the tubs.
