When I checked in the employee did not mention at all about breakfast (where it is/what time). Or about how to ride the airport shuttle. There were what looked like construction workers or landscapers parked in their work trucks blasting this God awful music in the parking lot, it was at around 6pm but still as a guest I don't want to hear that. Then the next day in the morning I hear the head housekeeper or manager or whatever yelling at some difficult guest next door to me who was sick with diarrhea yeah thanks lady for telling the whole floor that's great! If that guest is giving you a hard time well kick him out! Your disturbing me in the morning!! Yelling so unprofessional. There are no do not disturb signs. I also don't appreciate being woken up at 9:30 am by housekeeping every day! Cigarette buds all over the ground by the smoking areas. I guess there is an office right across the hall from room 129 and every morning employees sit in that office with the door open and talk their mouths aways shut up! It's a motel there's people sleeping. I'm done.

I knew that for the bargin rate I was getting there were likely going to be some issues. Starting with what was good, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable the shower was hot, and the breakfast area was clean and they offered a descent variety of food options, including really good coffee! The downside to staying there was that as a woman traveler, I didn't feel safe, and one of the locks on the two exterior doors to my room was broken. My hairdryer wasn't working, and the front desk said they would try to address this, but this didn't. The three biggest problems were the noise outside and inside the room, including lawn mowing which occurred prior to six am one day. The most critical problem was that the room didn't have any heat, and there wasn't a blanket on the bed. The first night when it was cold, I just thought the heat would come on later, but it didn't, nor did it the second night, but I had hope it would. It turns out that when I was checking out of the room, the front desk told me the hotel had shut off the heat, as they were inbetween the cold and hot season. Had I known this, I would not have stayed at the hotel.

Lobby ceiling is completely filthy; yes, there is a fireplace, but nevertheless . . . The ceiling is filthy (and I don't mean it's "not spotless" . . . I mean, it is really filthy. === There was exactly one coat hanger in our room, which was designed to accommodate up to 4 people. How about getting 5 new coat hangers?

Property was clean, very Mainesque in central locations. Breakfast was very good and lots of room to sit. Not able to sit in there to play games or such. Found a hypodermic needle outside our outside door with a bunch of trash. Staff were very polite.

Just an average motel, dated and worn. Could use some maintenance on interior and exterior. You can hear the footsteps above you and constant creaking. Otherwise the beds we’re comfortable, room felt clean enough and it’s pet friendly with a really nice outside area for exercising your dog. Breakfast is basic continental. The most expensive hotel on our 5 night journey back from Florida so probably won’t stay here again. Not sure why Bangor jacks up their rates at the very beginning of May when the other states don’t.

Even with never staying at an Inn before it was not how it was described or pictured. Mini fridge was not plugged in before we arrived and the hot water was on demand and would take 20 minutes to heat up. The building is in very poor condition. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere to stay.

We here at Vacationland Inn & Suites are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Did you bring the issue of non working tv and no hot water to the front desk staff. As we would have changed rooms for you to try and properly accommodate your needs. We unfortunately could not rectify any issues you had if it was not brought to our attention. As for the hot water it can take a while to get very hot and guest are advised to let the water run before they hop in the shower. Again we are sorry for any inconvenience this caused you

The room was outdated when taking a shower the tub filled up with 4 inches of water and took it over an hour to drain. The shower itself. The water pressure was very low. The bathroom ceiling tile was falling in and the reason the other ones were not was because they were screwed in with Sheet rock screws. When I woke up in the morning, went to the bathroom there was a roach or bug on the bathroom floor.

Room was spacious and relatively clean. However the building appeared to be mostly occupied by long term guest and unfortunately our room was located next to the main door. Therefore there was quite a bit of noise from the door opening and closing. Otherwise the guests made very little noise. Overall it was satisfactory for the price. I mention this because we have had to stay in establishments with long term guests, because of our dog and limited accommodations choices, and the guests and the accommodations were dirty (inside and outside) and the guests were noisy and in some cases scary!

This was the second time I have stayed there. If you are just there to sleep, and for a minimum number of hours, it gets the job done. I have never had an issue with noise level. However, it is worth noting that with this stay, I found a nickel under the bed, so I am not sure housekeeping was thorough prior to my stay. The shower had only cold water. The breakfast was comprised of individually bagged bagels, mini muffins, and slices of white bread, a couple of cereal options, at least one of which was Lucky Charms, and Great Value yogurt. There was a bottle opener affixed to the bathroom sink. The paint color was quite depressing…very dreary gray blue. Bed had an indentation about 3” deep. If seeking a firm mattress, or new one, this is not the place to go. I was there for an event at the Cross Insurance Arena, to which it is a five minute drive.

As we got into bed after a long day of our arrival, we discovered that the sheets were dirty! The bed was made but the sheets from the prior guests had not been changed. We called the Front Desk and the night manager came and changed the sheets and pillowcases. Also, the room had not been completely dusted nor vacuumed. The lobby entrance to the hotel was dirty and was not vacuumed at all during our 3-day, 2-night visit. We could not change to another hotel since all hotels were completed booked for the 2024 eclipse.

Compared to my previous stay a few years ago, this time I was not sure that bed linens were after lawndry. I was not sure the bathroom was desinfected after previous tennants. The microwave was dirty. Looks too cheap even for a budget place.

If you ever want to be catfished by a hotel listing, stay here. The walk down the hallway to our room smelled like cat urine. The room was dirty, dull, and had numerous bugs (I’m not sure if they were small cockroaches or large bedbugs). It didn’t even look close to the images provided. Not to mention the building shown in the images is not the true building we were to stay in. I was super excited for the rooms in the pictures and that’s far from what we got. Reserve with caution.

We stayed here several times in the past and had good experiences, but that changed this time. We checked in and were put in the building in the back on the second floor. When we got to our room the key wouldn’t work in the door. I walked in the rain back to the main office for a second key which they couldn’t find initially. Once they found I walked back in the rain and behold that key didn’t work either. There was a cleaning lady there that called her supervisor who came and their key didnt work either. We grabbed our bags and packed up and went to the front office again and they moved us to another room. The cleaning lady apologized but not the office staff but they accused me of being rude. I hardly said anything but “if looks could kill”. They put us in another room and before bed my wife went for shower and the nob was busted. We called the office and the night manager came over. He tried to fix it but the screw was stripped. He got water to flow from the shower but the knob spins freely. It now morning when I’m writing this and I’m sure we’ll be taking a cold shower this morning. And by the way again no apology for the busted shower. I paid $115 for the room. So buyer beware YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

While we can appreciate you being frustrated with the issues you had during your stay. However, you choosing to throw your key at the front desk staff was far from ok. Our staff does not get to be abused because of your frustration. That is assault. We will be providing you a refund because of the issues you had. You will not be welcome back here after your treatment of our staff. Have a lovely rest of your weekend.

We checked in and got a room that was not cleaned yet. Had to go back to front desk to get another room. Also Expedia does not indicate that there is a pet fee, instead listing pet friendly rooms at the same price which is misleading.
