Our host was fabulously attentive and answered all our questions very quickly, and was extremely approachable. The flat is literally on the doorstep of shops restaurants bars and the beach! “Arrived at the property at 4pm. The place was absolutely filthy with layers of dust all over the property. The bathroom had large holes all round the bath and bits of plaster crumbling away. After contacting My Getaways they arranged for us to be moved to a different apartment which was very nice and centrally located. However had to pay for taxis to take us to the new place as we had shopping delivered. Please avoid Majestic Mews until it has had huge refurbishment. It should not take more...

“We booked for a girls trip to celebrate a 50th birthday for the weekend. The location of the property was excellent and only a 20 min walk to the pier. A good range of food and shops a couple of mins down the road. The flat itself could do with a good clean and general maintenance. There was a curtain rail waiting to be put up on the table. Despite knowing they’d be four guests there was no pillow cases, sheet or duvet for the sofa bed. There was only 3 mugs and glasses available to use. The...

“Be prepared to be disappointed if you book at this property. While the property is functional and clean, it has a number of issues that are not properly disclosed. Firstly there is a scaffolding that blocks the entire main view of the beach - so you don’t get the view shown in the pics. “Fresh and clean, this apartment was perfect for a couple of nights stay. Arrival and departure were very easy. Close to everything in Brighton. Very comfortable. All slept brilliantly. In the attic so lots of steps to get to it but fine if fit and able. With two teenagers it was ideal for two nights but might need more space if staying for longer. Nice towels, bedding, little extras. ”
