While we would likely stay here again because of the great location and a few other factors, the poor hospitality when we checked in and the lack of assistance when we needed some information about where to go after I had been injured (not at the hotel) was off-putting. It makes the hotel come off like a no-frills airline, when the price and the location indicate that the level of service should be at least mid-range.
As others have mentioned, the lighting in the bathroom is very poor, and the strange arrangement of having the WC around the corner from the rest of the bathroom is not just odd but inconvenient. Adding a washing-up sink to the WC would make all the difference.
The housekeeping staff was great, providing extra towels when requested, making up the room early each day, and bringing me a wonderful sack of ice for the aforementioned injury. The room was always tidy and they were pleasant in the hallways. Overall, good, but don't expect a top-notch experience.
