Hotel, not a hostel ;)
I had room with private bathroom. I haven't had any hostel feeling. Area was nice and close to many restaurants and bars. Night life was great. Personal are kind.

Great stay!
Great service, location and overall experience! Would stay again! Stayed in an all girls dorm and felt really safe. Private beds with both walls and curtains.

Maverick hade överbokat.
Det är inte lätt att recensera Maverick City Lodge - Hostel eftersom vi inte fick bo där! Jag hade bokat ett dubbelrum med dusch och toalett och jag hade förbetalt. När vi kommer fram till Maverick City Lodge - Hostel visar det sig att dom överbokat och att vårt rum inte fanns. Dom sa att dom istället fixat en lägenhet, så det var ju bara att följa med till lägenheten. Den var i och för sig fin och mycket fräsch, MEN det var inte det jag hade beställt. Lägenheten låg i ett bra område, men den hade utsikt mot innergården som var allt annat än fräsch. Jag bad om kompensation eftersom vi inte fått vad jag beställt. Den kompensation vi fick var 10 euro vilken var pinsamt lite. Vi är missnöjda med kompensationen och bemötandet från Maverick City Lodge - Hostel, men lägenheten var som sagt fräsch och låg i ett trevligt område.

Bästa resan någonsin!
Var ett gäng på fem personer för att fina pojkvännens 30-årsdag. Så vi var blandade par och vänner. Skulle alla dagar i veckan rekommendera Maverick City Lodge till alla som ska till Budapest. Om man nu inte har siktet inställt på lyxhotell bara för att. Detta ställe är fräscht och har allt, även dubbelrum med egen toalett, förutom restaurang. Men läget mitt i smeten av restauranger, caféer och pubar gör att det inte behövs och allt är så billigt i Budapest. Bra ställe att utgå ifrån om man vill ha närhet till restaurang och uteliv, och en kort taxiresa till shopping, termalbad och slottsområdet. Våra aktiviteter var "escape rooms", mat dryck, spa, massage och vinprovning. Hann med allt detta då vi hade så nära till allt :)

Great stay and facilities are all good. I stayed in a room of 8 however my bed was bottom right by the door so your constantly hearing the door slam and people going in and out as well as noise in the corridors. The doors go quite a lot as toilets and showers are all outside the rooms but besides the noise at night it’s a good place to stay. Easy location to get anywhere and close to lots of transport

We really enjoyed our stay in Maverick’s City Lodge! It was super convenient, super good location with many sights, delicious cafes and bars just a few steps away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There is a big shared kitchen, where you can cook your foods, we stayed in a private room, everything was fine, we have no complaints. We are definitely going to come back soon!

I stayed two nights and the stay was very comfortable. The room and the kitchen were clean and efficient. Staffs are friendly and nice. The price for the stay was very low. I especially liked the espresso machine that I could drink espresso anytime for free. Some young people had fan in the kitchen and if you are very sensitive to noise and your room is close to the kitchen (for example 101 or 102), you may be annoyed. I stayed in 102 and had no problem. I rate 10 out of 10.

Paula, Oris, and Nicki were phenomenal. Not only was their service great, the made it easy to find and book things to do in the area and promoted great excursions with the hostel. I was so impressed with all this hostel had to offer. definitely worth the stay and in such a great area. Almost everything was walking distance or a bus ride away. On the other hand, I think most hostels can use a good power wash, especially in the bathrooms. Luckily the bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly daily

It has pros and cons
Pros: the bed was comfortable and the curtains made it feel very private. The hostel is conveniently located in the city center. Cons: you can hear everything that happens in the hallways, whether it is doors slamming, or guests talking very loudly or screaming at 4:00 AM. The showers were cold (I stayed in the summer, but nonetheless, it would have been nice to have at least lukewarm water..). Also, when I checked-in, the lady at the reception desk was very condescending.

Great place to stay
Nicki at checkin was enthusiastic and informative. The hostel had two eating establishments connected. One was the canteen where for 8euros you could have all you can eat breakfast. Typical breakfast foods and okay tasting. The other was Fat Mama's. If staying at the hostel there is 10% discount. I ate there several times and it was always very good. The one complaint of the hostel was the noise level at night. It is located on a pedestrian street in the Jewish quarter. This is a very hip place with lots of cafes and bars. Most nights by 11 pm it got somewhat quite but one night the noise went on to almost 3 am. Overall the hostel is very good with lots of activities to keep you busy if you want to participate. Also, for 10 euros they have a laundry service (wash, dry and fold).

Nice comfortable hostel, central location (so noisy part of the night). 5 parking spaces (15€ per day) for the hostel. Big and clean room and bathroom. Avoid breakfast at The Canteen : overpriced

This is one of the best hostels ive ever stayed in. Great location. Super clean rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and common area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone stayong there was chill and observed the quiet hours. Highly recoomend this hostel

It was much nicer than many hotels I've stayed in, and the service was impeccable. Orsi was the best! She was so friendly and enthusiastic with many suggestions for restaurants and things to do around the city. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable.
