I stay here once or twice a month because it’s convenient, usually not terrible, and fits the “roof over my head” criteria I can get fairly cheap through Expedia.
These last couple times have been, um, less than decent.
The ATM in the lobby gave me less than it should have, and even though the sheen of concern was there, no one cared enough to deal with it.
This weekend, I was in a room with no internet, and even though there were times that weren’t in their self prescribed “dead zone” available, I wasn’t allowed to move to an equitably priced spot.
Fast forward to this morning, and the shower backed up so quickly, I spent the better part of an hour moping water out of the slipperiest bathroom I’ve ever encountered.
The man behind the front desk seemed to be practicing his ability to stare through people while I talked, and I ended up leaving with nothing to show for any of it except sore knees from cleaning, and an upcoming search for a hotel that won’t actively steal from me.
Not so cool beans.
