Amazing service right by the beach
Wonderful hotel, room was fresh and clean with an ocean view. Everybody at the hotel are so nice and there is lots of activities and games. Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay here and will definetly come back.

Familjär pärla bland jätte-hotellen
Vi bokade detta hotell spontant för bara ett dygn och blev positivt överraskade. Hotellet är betydligt mindre än många i området och var personligt och trivsamt. Mycket fin service, även till oss som stannade kort. Alla rum med fin utsikt eftersom de som inte vetter mot havet istället ser en lagun. Charmig byggnad i olika nivåer med fint pool-område och flera platser att vara, för såväl vuxna, ungdomar och barn. Mycket fräscha rum.

Sista hotellnatten efter en lång vistelse i Mexico
Härligt hotell mitt på stranden vid det turkosblå havet! Vi bodde här endast en natt efter att ha rest runt i Mexico några veckor innan vi skulle bege oss hem. Mycket trevlig och service minded personal. Dock trist närområde och maten på hotellet var ingen höjdare, särskilt inte efter att ha ätit fantastisk mexikansk mat runtom i Q.Roo

Tommy, Nära till stranden och även diverse gallerior. lätt att ta bussen för 5 kr om man ska till aquaworld och göra utflykter.

Otroligt prisvärt hotell
Fantastisk. Nästa gång vi åker tillbaka kommer vi välja detta hotell! det hela började med att hotellet var överbokade. Så första natten fick vi sova på hotellet flamingo som ligger 3-4 minuter därifrån. vi blev eskorterade t.o.r med taxi dit. som kompensation fick vi all inclusive på de nätterna vi skulle stanna på NYX hotell. Maten är FANTASTISK! aktiviteter anordnas av cancuns skönaste lekledare där volleyboll, yoga, salsa och vattengymnastik står på schemat. Vi är och förblir oerhört nöjda med detta hotell då de har lyckats hålla en hög nivå av service.

Vår aircondition fungerade inte och trots att vi påpekade detta flera gånger/dagar utan att dom gjorde något åt detta. Vi fick heller inga nya/rena sängkläder på 5 dagar. Det bästa på hotellet var stranden och frukosten.

When booking my trip, I always select the all inclusive filter. Hotel nyx near isla seems like the rest in price and offers. When checking in however, I was told I only selected breakfast. How is an all inclusive hotel all of a sudden NOT all inclusive. After arguing with the hotel and Expedia neither one was able to help out. The cost of 3798 for a week for three people did not cover all inclusive meals and drinks. I had to pay additional 1800 dollars for all inclusive. Can’t say where the glitch is, but if you’re booking all inclusive stay away from Hotel NYX near isla shopping mall.

When selecting the room, it gives you the meal plan option. Unfortunately, you reserved breakfast only. The price difference from breakfast only to All Inclusive at the front desk it is more expensive than online, so you had to paid 1765 USD for 8 nights for 2 adults and a child.Warmest regards.

The room was very big and clean and the staff was friendly. The location is very convenient and pretty much perfect. The food was also very good. The only not so great things were that it can be a little loud around the property at times. There was a band/party in the lobby and we were able to hear it loud and clear from where our room was (500 block). There was also construction going on in the next room and there was banging all day long. It didn't start too early and ended early as well so it wasn't too bad. The other thing I have to gripe about is that there are two restaurants on the property and the dress code is FORMAL. What on earth? These resorts need to chill with these dress codes. We are on vacation to relax and I understand looking decent but formal seems a bit excessive. The room service and deck restaurant were great. I would return to this hotel.

El hotle es caro para lo que ofrece, la habitacion de mis hijos estaba arriba de los tanques de gas que estaban cubiertos por una lona, la de mi esposa y mia una habitacion con vista al mar del tamaño de un tamaño reducido a pesar de que las fotos de la propiedad dan otra perspectiva, la cama super incomodo se sentian los resortes (inaceptable para un hotel de este costo)

Place was clean with a friendly staff. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lagoon. My wife loved the rain shower head right on the center of the spacious shower room. The location was great easy access to all fine dining and the beach had zero seaweed. Also, loved the daily free breakfast that had so many food options. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Quick getaway
I stayed for a couple of days at the nyx hotel. I have to say that the hotel is well keep very cleaned and close to the mall and shops. The beach is amazing. Friendly staff and the breakfast buffet is a must. Everything so fresh. The pool bar could use some mixology because the drinks were water down aside from that I really enjoyed my stay. I recommend the hotel if your in Cancun and want to enjoy the beach and be close to the mall restaurants and shops.

I’m going to start this review by saying in no way am I rich. I work hard for the money I earn and my main goal in life is to travel. I worked all summer to save for this trip and when the time came I booked it! I was exacerbated when my boyfriend and I finally got to book our trip! We booked at nyx looking on Expedia. We found a hotel that stated “all inclusive” and we even have screenshots of the booking saying it was in fact “all inclusive”. Upon arrival at first glance everything was beautiful, and then check in happened. We were told that our booking was in fact not all inclusive but it is marketed on Expedia as if it is. We were also told, “this is not the first time this has happened”. We stated there must be some mistake as we even have screenshots of our booking. As stated before I am far from rich so the panic for me began to set in as I had not budgeted for any food whatsoever with the expectation it would be provided. We were then told by the hotel there was nothing that they could do and we had to reach out to Expedia. The hotel and us could not reach them by phone after almost an hour and so I began to talk to an agent online. We provided screenshot evidence and also spoke on how the booking was advertised. Expedia basically told us we were completely out of luck and that there was nothing they could/ would do. The hotel told us there was nothing they would do as we booked through Expedia so it “was not their fault”. Expedia and the hotel refused to do anything.

Staying at NYX was a great experience. The staff was amazing!!! The room was wonferful and the location was ideal. We couldn't check in early, but other than that, the staff accommodated us and had quick responses when we needed something. The only down side was not being able to eat at Restaurant Chanti. Had to stay 3 nights in order to have this Restaurant and the taco place included in all inclusive. I would definitely stay agaun.

Se me dio una habitacion sin remodelar que no era nada como en las fotos, alegando que fue un upgrade sin que se me comunicara. Se hizo el cambio de habitacion pero no me parece que deban hacer eso sin comunicarlo al cliente El estacionamiento no tiene acceso por escaleras o elevador tienes que subir la rampa con maletas sin que nadie te ayude El botones pidio propina de acuerdo a sus estandares y se comporto de manera grosera al no recibirla

Efectivamente, usted reservó una Sunset suite, estas habitaciones tienen 1 cama king y vista hacia la laguna. Por motivo de operación se le brindó un free upgrade a una 1bedroom unit, es una habitación muy amplia con cama king size y vista hacia el mar. No le gusto la habitación por lo que se le cambió a la categoría que usted reservó. Una disculpa si esto fue una inconveniencia.Nuestro estacionamiento efectivamente no tiene acceso interno hacia el lobby, es únicamente una entrada. Cuando tiene maletas en el estacionamiento, recomendamos primero informar al botones para que puedan asistirle.Una disculpa si percibió alguna actitud poco cordial por parte de algún colaborador de botones. Esta información es muy importante, y ha sido enviada a la gerencia de front, para poder mejorar nuestros servicios.Esperamos nos pueda visitar nuevamente, para mejorar su experiencia.Saludos.

Nice setting next to the beach but the drinks and food isnt tasty and isnt worth the all inclusive. Pricey for whar you get. A lot of building works going on which is really bad seeing as you are on holiday and want to relax. They didnt give us towel cards until day 4. Werent clear about the 'free' tours theu do (when we questioned there is only one tour - not tours). The setting is good, rooms spacious, staff friendly. It is clean and spacious.

I loved the location and that it felt like a beachy resort, rather than further down where there were too many people, placed etc all in one area. I did not like that there was only 1 bartender at the outside bar, the inside bar didn't open until later and the conciere was way too pushy about the time share, ask once is ok but daily was annoying

O hotel é excelente para quem deseja aproveitar a cidade de Cancun e também descansar. Os quartos e banheiros são grandes, modernos e limpos. Os atendentes foram muito atenciosos, deram indicações de restaurantes, ônibus etc. E o café da manhã é muito bom, com diversas opções de alimentos e bebidas. Nossa reserva não era all inclusive, mas havia essa opção.

The overall property condition is “tired” racing headlong to “seedy”. The room decor has a definite ‘50s feel. The auto repair shop floor mats masquerading as carpet along with the damaged woodwork lend a definite “ghetto chic” vibe . Art lovers will appreciate the sun shining thru the holes in the blackout curtains which give the room the feel of being in a Jackson Pollack painting. Note: this hotel is listed under “all inclusive on the Orbitz & Expedia websites. However upon checking in we were told the all inclusive plan included breakfast only. On site Italian restaurant was only fair to poor, and they had no idea what garlic bread was. Really? For the intrepid traveler who would still consider this hotel, you will surely be sharing your room with bugs that look like grasshoppers on steroids…every bit of 6-7 inches in length. The one bright spot was the staff. Those who did not actively avoid interaction were quite friendly and very willing to be helpful. Still, with all the choices available, my advice is there are many better choices in the same price range.

I don’t quite understand why people complain about the water, the rooms… I had one of the best services ever. Front desk was amazing, always going the extra mile for help! Greeters were amazing, I cannot really say anything bad because being all inclusive with a premium upgrade having one of the best views of the 5th floor with the ocean upfront, with the bartenders serving you great drinks, I mean, I was so happy so relaxed, so entertained, that I only have to say, this hotel had the best deal. People complain about the water, my god, it’s F-ing 85-91F degrees, what do u want Hot water for? Moldy rooms? Nothing, the room itself is very comfy, spacious, nice view, the balcony is great too, and I just have to have the windows open to smell the breeze, and I left the windows open because waking up with such sound in breeze, it’s just paradise. The food in the restaurants is great too. Get the all inclusive if you trying to spend some time inside the hotel, it’s worth it. The tours literally take you off the hotel from 7am til 5pm or 7pm… if you go for few days don’t get the all inclusive, but upgrade your room. I’ll be back in November :)

It is not allowed to bring food into the hotel, so we avoid leftovers in the rooms and control pests. We also do not allow food to be taken out of the restaurants. All that information is given upon your check-in, and it's written in the register that you sign. It is also written and framed on the pillars at the entrance of the hotel. This was our second time staying here. The first time we did all inclusive this time we did not. If you plan on drinking and eating at the hotel often I’d recommend all inclusive. The price of dinner was insane for a buffet and meal. 650 pesos each person. We didn’t stay at the hotel much. They won’t allow you to bring in your own beer, only buy from them, which I highly did not like. The room was great. Cleaning staff was wonderful. Beach had seaweed all over. Overall it’s a nice hotel, however there are better options in Cancun.

Excellent, friendly, and fun staff! Very clean property with beautiful ocean views. Great food…especially the Italian and Japanese restaurants. However, be sure you are booking all-inclusive if you prefer that service. It can be a bit confusing on the website as to which package you are purchasing, and we ended up having to pay an additional $500 at the resort.
