Limited food choices, food was below average, service was poor in many situations but was excellent at times, depended on the restaurant or staff. Very inconsistent. Overall I would rate my stay a C, extremely disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

This was me and my husbands second time here at Zilara and it did not disappoint. We absolutely love it here. The food is great, especially the seafood! I also love that they serve lunch right next to the pool! Such a great experience. We were serviced by Abimael by the pool and the beach. He was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful and accommodating. He definitely made our experience a lot brighter! Also, David from Punta Vista catered to all of our needs and was very kind. Samanta from Punta Vista always made us feel so welcome with a big smile! I didn’t encounter one staff member that wasn’t helpful and/or unfriendly. The beach was clean and absolutely beautiful. We were lucky to have little to no seaweed at all. We will definitely be back for a 3rd time sooner than later!

As soon as we checked in, several members of the staff (front desk, porter, etc) told us "welcome home". At first I'd thought this was kind of cheesy. However, throughout our stay I can honestly say that we'd NEVER felt like we were being treated as customers, we felt like welcomed guests on every level. The food was phenomenal, every single member of the staff was kind, courteous, and attentive, the facilities were beautiful. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was so much better than we had expected. We will be visiting Cancun again and there is absolutely no other venue beyond the Hyatt Zilara that we'll be considering for our home away from home!! We cannot compliment nor thank the staff enough!

The staff was excellent. The food was good but was a little disappointed with Maria Maria. The property needs a better Mexican food Restaurant. The high pressure sales at check in was annoying. My wife left her purse on a chair for ten minutes and the staff picked it up and returned it for us and we appreciated that. They did however take everything out and didn’t put everything back in it. We were missing our parking pass and room key out of it. The bathroom water does have a smell to it so we opted out of using the hot tub. Over all a very nice property.

My stay was fine until the second day, but after that the replenishment of amenities was not perfect, and some amenities were never replenished after that? It was very disappointing. However, the staff member (waiter?) Catalino Reyes who brought drinks and food to the cabana was very considerate with drinks, food, and other things, so I was able to spend a very meaningful time, and I booked a cabana again the next day and spent the whole day there♪ I will definitely come to Catalino again.

Had a wonderful time at the resort. Staff (except at check out) and facilities were great. Absolutely loved everything about it until they fraudulently double charged me and were not helpful in resolving it in any way. Didn’t respond to an email with my bank statement showing the double charge fraud. Extremely disappointing. Had to go through my bank to get my money back

I overall loved the stay. The property is a little worn and needs some building upgrades. Had a fair amount of food choices but was expecting more of the Mexican food even though i didn't choose to go to the 2 Mexican restaurants on the property. I loved my cabana services and all of the guys were excellent i loved the professionalism and attention and care from the spa staff especially Bryan and Hilda. My husband recently had a stroke and Hilda took great care of him and went over and beyond her duties. The cleaning was over the top and always clean and I never found a piece of unwanted hair or anything. Before I arrived at the facility, i had the pleasure of working with Ms. Zoe who went over and beyond to help me plan my trip and make reservations. She was so pleasant and great to work with and very genuine and no pressure of selling anything. She is definitely a keeper for the resort. I was celebrating my birthday on one of the days and each of the different staff departments gave me a birthday recognition 4 of the 5 days. It was awesome!!!! The things that i didn't like are: i didn't like being approached so much about buying additional services and especially feeling pressured into going to the resort playa collection resort sales presentation; i didn't like the Discova trying to force me to give them my credit card or cash for services when i told them i wanted it added to my room but they said computer was down so they couldn't do it and i cancelled it;

We had our honeymoon in Hyatt Zilara and we enjoyed every second of that. From staff to managers to chefs and baristas, they are all incredible people. Food is great and options are pretty wide to choose from. Will be back soon.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation. The gym had everything we needed. The staff was top notch. All rooms face the ocean so any room seemed like it would be great! Asiana restaurant was fantastic! The hotel had events and activities throughout the day and night, which was nice! The only con would be that the sales people, while nice, are pushy and the playa collection seems scammish as they couldn’t show us the savings as a package (e.g. flights and hotels together). Even booking through Expedia it’s always cheaper to build the package. So it would have been nice to see apples to apples on how I generally book, rather than individual prices.

Staff were fantastic and property was clean. Our room was cleaned daily. We enjoyed our vacation, however it was difficult getting lounge chairs around the pool . They want you to purchase so towels held chairs and guest went down as early as 7:00am to hold chairs. Also there was construction going on to replace rails on balcony’s and tiles. So very noisy around pool due to drilling.

There was construction happening and they did not tell us which is upsetting. Along with this we got served sushi which had blood on it. However this was such a clean place and the staff were super nice.

My husband and I just came back and we were totally impressed with everything - the staff were so friendly, the beach was unreal, and the food! Omg the food is just amazing and their drinks were strong. I would totally recommend this place for those who like to just stay in the resort and get entertained.

Amazing beach and pool. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, and pleasant interactions. Some of the the front house staff were rather pushy (e.g., sommelier). Overall, the breakfast at Spice was great but the dinners at Punta Vista and Maria Marie were disappointing. Room service was a plus.
