“We were delighted with The Bressmer. The ground floor is very large with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a game room, a writing room, full kitchen and dining room. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Victorian style. We felt so special staying at The Bressmer we didn't want to leave. ”

“Cute house, very comfortable, and layout was great. It was stocked well except for no hair dryer and one was not brought when asked so make sure to bring one when packing. Although it sleeps 9 it’s a little tight and table only fits 4 for dining. Location was so-so but good enough to drive to campus. Positives definitely outweighed the negatives.”

“This is a cute little home and looks just as in the pictures. We were 2 couples visiting our kids at U of I for parents’ weekend and wanted to stay together. This was the perfect option and so much more affordable compared to the exorbitant prices the hotels charge during visiting weekends. We had cars so being a couple miles from campus was no problem. “We heard 36 different birds in 10 minutes during breakfast. The hosts’ respect of nature and all people oozes from all the little extras. The humans, dogs, and birds echo that sentiment.”

“Inside- everything you’d need, nothing that you don’t need. Nice, big king sized bed and a very nice, updated bath and shower. Loved having the full kitchen and amenities. We also appreciated the extra towels, sheets, blankets, and coffee. Maybe have some tea bags and regular sugar available. It is also good to have the dedicated parking, but it is a bit awkward with the railroad tie retaining wall and the small cement pavers to get to the back door entrance. ”

“My friends and family found this to be perfect lodging for our gathering. There are 3 common areas inside the house to gather. 3 bedrooms (one with full/twin bunkbeds) and 2 bathrooms. What added value to this property is the proximity to the university (2.4 miles from the State Farm Center) 1 minute to a shopping center with a yogurt place, 6 min to a grocery store, and a neighborhood with walking trails. “Highly recommend! Nice, clean modern studio suite. Large smart TV, comfortable bed, nice sitting area with small couch. Frig, stovetop, microwave & washer/dryer. Great bakery/coffee shop on 1st floor & Einstein Bageks across the street. Included parking too. You just need to bring a blow dryer and if you are going to check in after 5 PM, you need to call the front desk and ask them to leave your key in the lock box, which we did and was super easy.”
