Avkopplingen i avskildhet
Hotellet är väldigt modernt. Rummen är 60kvm.Badrummen har stor regndush. Ljussättningen i rummen kan ställas in på olika förprogrammerade nivåer. TV-utbudet var begränsat liksom utbudet minibaren (gratis). Hotellet ligger helt avskilt. Atmosfären är väldigt avkopplande. T/R Shuttle in till Cha-am / Hua Hin finns 4 gånger om dagen. Det finns två bra pooler, den ena är reserverad för vuxna. Frukosten var över förväntan. Vi åt både lunch och middag vid stranden: västerländskt mat och stora portioner. Middag vid poolrestauranfen är också väldigt trevligt: tyst, bra service och bra thaimat serveras. En trappa upp ligger en aperitif lounge med fantastiskt fin utsikt över pool och hav från terrassen. Bör poängteras att den höga vattennivån slukar stranden vissa tider. Endast mellan 11AM och 3PM gick det bra att ta långa promenader på den stranden (som var helt öde åt båda hållen). Solstolar placeras på en upphöjd artificiell strand i anslutning till pool och beach restaurangen. Spa var väldigt fint: stilig arkitektur, rent och stora behandlingsrum (särskilt rummen för par behandlingar).

Hotell för dig som vill koppla av!
Ett helt fantastiskt hotell med stora rum o fina pooler. Frukosten saknade inget utan var helt otrolig. Det enda minusen här var att man inte fick rundvandring och information när man kom om vad man kan göra. samt servicen i bar o restaurang var inte alls tillräcklig för ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. Ligger även 15 min med bil från cha am city. Vissa delar var under renovering men sammanfattningsvis var vi väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse här och kan rekommendera hotellet!

Fint hotell en liten bit från Cha-am
Stora hotellrum. Badkar och dusch (typ rainforest shower), saknade dock något att få undan vatten med på golvet (typ gummiskrapa). Två restauranger på hotellet - en med thai mat och en mer internationellt fokus. Bra spa. Trevlig personal! Ebb/flod gör att stranden ibland inte är så tillgänglig. Stenar, koraller och snäckor i vattnet så kan med fördel använda badskor. Mycket folk under fre-sön, men ganska tomt mitt i veckan. Hotellet erbjuder shuttle service till Hua Hin, använd den - betydligt bättre pris än att använda vanlig taxi.

Cool hotel but very bad maintenance
Very cool hotel. Small gym but not very functional. Really worn down hotel. Hear renovation is on the way soon. Construction, new resort being built, next door. In the middle of nowhere. One good seafood restaurant by the beach within driving distance. Very good breakfast. One of the pools is for adults only. "Active pool" was to warm, doesn't seem like pool is used so much so the cooling wasn't on.

Lugnt och mycket trevligt hotell med väldigt hjälpsam personal. Fin strand och två fina pooler! Gratis yoga på helgmornarna och mycket bra spa!

Excellent design
We are travelling with 2 older children and booked 2 rooms next to each other. We just love the modern style with the concrete walls and floor. The rain shower in the bathroom is amazing. The kids also loved that the minibar was complementary. The hotel have a shuttle bus to down town Cha-am for 50 baht, or to Hua-Hin for only 100 baht. The breakfast buffe was huge with many choices. From the restaurant you can enjoy the nice sea view, which is even better from the roof top lounge :-). We will definitely come back if we get the opportunity.

Vilsamt
Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, gott urval vid frukostbuffén. Saknar fitnesscenter vilket drar ner helhetsbetyget. Hotellet ligger lite avlägset och har inga närliggande restauranger eller butiker. Hotellet saknar butik.

Some refurbsihment work was underway in August 2023 when we astayed but we knew about this beforehand and it did not impact our stay. We stayed in a poolside room which was excellent. The only area for improvement would be the food which I would say is 3.5 out of 10 and is quiet expensive. However having said that we would visit again as the inflatable in the main pool is amazing and so much fun

Wonderful stay
Great stay at a wonderful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was amazing. The only let down was noise due to renovation due August, which will be a great addition. We are definitely coming back.

Our stay was fantastic with all of the functions available unlike other hotels during these times. The service is work in progress but the new manager Nicholas was amazing with very hands on training. By the summer this will be the best property in the area...

Disappointing experience.
As a 5-star hotel, So Sofitel Hua Hin is much below our expectation. 1. In the beginning, we were told that the family room is on the 3rd floor. We agreed the upgrade for this reason. However, we ended up being in the 1st floor near the entrance. 2. Seeing the attached picture, the baby cod was broken when my son was sleeping! I still cannot believe this was happening in a 5-star hotel. My son was not even jumping but just lying down on it. We used to stay in Oakwood where the baby cod was very nice and cozy. We had expected the same level in So Sofitel but we were wrong. 3. The room were were staying was 101. The telephone was not functioning, some of the lights were not working. Once the light was replaced, it cannot even be switched off when we wanted to sleep. We even have to call the room service only to switch off the light for us. 4. For breakfast and dinner, the seats were completely not enough. The level of service was not aligned with the price we were charged. 5. The TV was not even smartTV. The Chromecast was not functioning properly. Even the technician cannot make it work. Overall speaking, this was a very disappointing experinece. Be aware for all family with kids.

Great hotel with plenty of activities for families
The resort was great. The bike path, mini putt, and obstacle course were a family favourite during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool and restaurant closed midway through our stay due to new covid restrictions. As such, we could not use the pool and could only have order in food. Having said that, breakfast buffet was fantastic, the facilities were quite nice. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was top notch. We would return once Covid restrictions are lifted.

Comfortable hotel, good food, fun pool
Love the comfort of the high ceiling room. Pool was very relaxing. And the kids pool with the inflatable obstacle course was even fun for adults. Loved the food by the pool. Beware, lots of people of the weekend so have to avoid peak hours in public areas.

The hotel was not clean up to So sofitel standards. The pool area was very nice for the kids and adults. The room again wasn't meeting the sofitel standard for cleanliness. The hotel was understaffed. The FNB was quite good though. The room where we were staying was having construction right opposite and we had to call thrice before action was taken. Overall it's worth going because of the kids but otherwise it didn't suit our liking.
