This is a delighted compliment from Piriyasak stayed on 11-12 April 2024. The owners were very accommodating with beautifully kinded heart people that shows through their smiles and action. Blue Hawaii and pineapple for welcome drink was amazing. The place is uniquely private and warm welcome like the place you actually dreaming of or having for your own. But more than anything, the accommodating owners were the gems of this place that I couldn't get enough stars to rate on. Thank you for having us as your guess. We felt so special and treated like angel.

A Relaxing Thai Countryside Retreat
Wow! This villa is amazing! It is truly a place out of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of Thailand. The couple who own it are extremely gracious and they did so much to ensure our stay was comfortable. The morning breakfasts are truly a bonus feature and the rooms are exactly how they are protrayed online. We stayed here for five nights and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. After three weeks of touring in Thailand, the Rommai Villa was a welcome retreat. The setting was calm and tranquil. In the daytime the sounds of traffic was replaced by birds and the rippling water of the pond. Then at night there was no loud music or racing vehicles. Instead, we fell to sleep to the sounds of frogs in a nearby field. So, if you want to truly experience what Thailand country life is like, you will want to book a stay here and not for just one night.

Traditional Thia house renovated for guests
Traditional Thai house with super kind hosts. They only have 4 rooms which is understandable cause they renovated their house to serve as a mini hotel. All facilities are updated to a modern one (shower, bathroom, beds, air conditioner, etc.) Being remotely located, the access is a little uncomfortable unless you have a car but that is why it's surrounding is so serene.

the owner and daughter is so friendly and give good hospitality.. the welcome cold coconut is a plus welcoming drink from the hot days. everything was neat and well taken of although the place is a bit far out from city. my partner twisted her leg while going to the pool due to even ground at the field going down the slope to the pond area. but overall , the host put up a good hospitily , they also upgraded us to a better room which is a wise move since the room is not taken.good marketing strategy too. The breakfast is well taken off. overall the host Kon Noi make u a welcome guest.. will give a 10/10 for their hospitality.

The grounds are incredibly gorgeous, the sound of the water is so relaxing at night. The hosts are very kind and helped arrange all the tours and transportation and cook an amazing breakfast. Our favorite villa is Thailand so far. 10/10

We highly recommend this place
This place is located in the most peacefull and charming garden and the rooms are so wonderful, with a little porch outside every cabin. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and will do everything for you. For free they make the most delicious breakfast, which you choose the day before from a number of different dishes, you can choose between ordinary breakfast and traditional thai. Among other thing we one day borrowed the free bikes and took on a trip to the Baan Dam museum about 5 km. away on nice quite roads without much traffic. Definitely a place we would return to if we are going back to Chiang Rai.

Honeymoon Paradise
Fantastic stay. Extremely romantic! They took great care in making sure our every need was met. Great home cooked breakfast. Rooms are so spacious and great AC or lots of windows for air flow. They helped us plan all of our activities and facilitated transport for a full day of sight seeing. Location is outside of town, but easy access to the city with grab. Great with providing tips and went all out to surprise us with room decorations for our honeymoon!

This was an amazing 5 days. The staff was extremely accommodating, the owners were always there working and caring for the experience of each guest. The attentiveness was amazing. They always greeted you with a smile. The homemade breakfast each morning was so delicious. The property is like a botanical garden. It was a true pleasure to have stayed here and I look forward to another trip back here again!

De varmeste anbefalinger - bedste beliggenhed!
Det skønneste sted lidt udenfor Chiang Rai, kun 10-15 minutter med bil (vi brugte Grab-appen), nemt og billigt til centrum. Kan ikke anbefale det nok. Familien er de sødeste mennesker, datteren taler godt engelsk. Vi havde booket 2 nætter, forlængede med yderligere 2 nætter, da vi stortrivedes her. Fine bungalows af virkelig høj standard, vi boede i Pineapple, så lækker med stort badeværelse og stor privat terrasse. Lækker morgenmad med virkelig god ekspresso/kaffe (jeg kørte Thai-style, min mand continental). God aftensmad, som skal bestilles i forvejen. Familien laver alt selv i det åbne køkken. Haven er noget helt særligt med mange fine hyggesteder. Der er fri vand og frit og gratis brug af cykler (de har 5 gode mountainbikes), dem benyttede vi hver dag - gav stor frihed. Der er så mange fine sights her omkring - første dag cyklede vi 30 km. rundt i området og så den store buddha (og andre buddhaer og templer), vandfald, det smukkeste grønne og frodige landskab med ananas-, banan-, mango- og kaffemarker, små landsbyer og snakkede med søde mennesker. Ca. 1 km. herfra er en lille by med et lille marked og 1 km. længere "Hot springs", hvor vi fik den bedste massage sammen med de lokale for kun 30 kr. og bagefter i kar fyldt med VARMT vand fra kilden. Skønt ovenpå en aktiv dag. 100 meter herfra ligger et lille madmarked. Igår fik vibarbecue ved Grill &Hotpot, hvor vi selv sad og grillede kød og grøntsager ved bordet - så hyggeligt (og kun 40 kr. pr. person). ALT er godt her!

This resort is the. Hidden gem of Thailand !!! I would truthfully rate it a 12 out of 10 !!! Ive traveled all around the World and never stayed anywhere as beautiful as this ... Free Homemade breakfast every morning !!! The room and resort are spotless !!! The best hosts and owners ive ever met before !!! Amazing and incredible flower gardens and nature surroundings !!! Quiet ..private .. and peacefull !!! Im really at a loss of words trying to describe how much i enjoyed my 6 day stay here !!! I had tears in my eyes as i drove away at the end of my stay !!! Great secluded villa with nice little extras
This was an amazing villa in a secluded area that was very quiet and nice. The people who work at this villa are very nice and accommodating. We got a free pickup from the airport, a pineapple drink when we arrived, and homemade breakfast every morning. The room itself was very nice and clean with a beautiful garden and furniture to sit on if you please. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Location & Food!
Such a beautiful property and conveniently located by car to all the sites we wanted to visit in Chiang Rai. The food was fantastic too. We got the included breakfast and loved it so much we grabbed dinner there as well. You cant beat a home-cooked meal in paradise! The owners are incredibly friendly and room was absolutely lovely. We didn't want to leave and ended up spending quite a bit of time relaxing on the property before moving on to our next destination. This place is an absolute gem!

Small owner operated guest houses. Wonderful people who’s goal is to make you feel at home. Very quiet place with comfortable beds. Fresh fruit and vegetables coming straight from the garden. Excellent choice of breakfast made for us at our choosing. Arranged tours with a wonderful driver. If in Chiang Rai we would not stay anywhere else.

Peaceful & relaxing stay away from the world
Small tucked out of the way place that’s perfect for peace & relaxation. We stayed here for two nights - JiJi and the rest of the staff were the best hosts - from airport pick up to breakfasts on the patio (even a late night dinner) … it was a great place for us to use as base for exploring Chiang Mai. We would love to come back again someday soon!

Great Villa and Amazing Food!
I had the best experience here! The owners provided transportation pick up and airport drop off. The villa is located close to airport and a bit away from the city so if you're looking for a quiet escape this is the place! My room was clean and perfect with lots of outdoor space. Very tranquil! The owner is also the chef and cooks some of the best Thai food I had while visiting Northern Thailand. I hope to visit again.

The owner was so nice, he made feel at home. The facility itself is the kind of place that I’d always wanted to stay and the owner just made it a reality. The home cooked breakfast was one of the best Thai dish I’ve ever had, so delicious. They made sure that my tours are safe and they even picked me up as dropped me off at the airport for free, I highly recommend this place!

This was my favorite property in Thailand, I miss it so much already! It is not in the main part of the city, but you can easily rent a motorcycle or book a Grab. The family who owns the property really goes above and beyond! They picked us up from the airport, provided free bicycle rentals (also told us where we should go), and cooked us an amazing breakfast each morning! The place is really beautiful as well. I liked to relax and enjoy the nature while laying on the chair. Definetely recommend for those that want a relaxing vacation!

Wonderful stay!
Stayed for one night and it was amazing! The villa is beautiful and the owners are so friendly and accommodating - they went out of their way to find us a taxi back to the villa and recommended wonderful restaurants. The rooms are stunning, and the ambiance is immaculate. Very peaceful and serene :-) thank you we had a wonderful time.

An authentic northern Thailand experience
We showed up realizing we were to be the only guests for our 3 night stay; we felt to be treated very well. The food was amazing; the owners do a great job. We had the Coconut Villa, it was beautiful. Clean, spacious, authentic. The internet works well, but this is a place perfect for disconnecting. Read a book, enjoy your partners company, nap in the garden or on your terrace, eat amazing food on site or venture into the village for many options. If you have a car, or can ride the hotels bicycles, definitely go to the near by Ban Du public hot springs to soak your feet. The Thai massage at the hot springs is the best I ever had; authentic temple trained masseuses.

We arrived in Chiang Rai beginning of November. The place is a bit further outside the city center (approximately 20 minutes by car) but the host will arrange pick up for you from the bus terminal. When we arrived we were greeted politely by the couple with a fresh coconut which is a nice gesture. The place is very well-maintained with a beautiful garden. The cottage itself is clean and quite cute. Breakfast was included and was tasty every time. The only thing that you need to make sure is to communicate with the couple very clearly as they do not speak any English. Luckily, they use Google translate to converse with you but do double check with them every time you speak to them to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, the stay was really pleasant as the couple is friendly and pays attention to cleanliness.

Very pretty property very quiet slept great both nights. Owner is very nice and accommodating. Made a great breakfast for us both days and ate out on back deck with beautiful scenery. They had some bikes to borrow which were very convenient and used them to go to the park and store etc. They are decent bikes just need some maintenance brakes shifters etc but we were able to make them work for us. Would definitely recommend staying there just know it's more like a B&B than a resort so no spa etc. Owner showed us a good spot to eat and hired a taxi driver to take us to a few temples and then the best place to eat in Thailand I have experienced so far.

An absolute oasis ! The most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my 15 years of traveling in Asia. There is only four villas here and the owners who live on the site go out of their way to accommodate us. Nice bicycles that they have here are great early mornings ride in the beautiful green first setting around here. I love it here and for sure will be back here many times.

This resort is a little oasis unto itself. The owners have built a lovely traditional Thai-style complex, with rooms above in the main building, and separate bungalows a few steps away.There's a beautiful pond, and the landscaping is designed to buffer you from the University just across the road. The owners are very outgoing, and they make wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful location. The best I have ever found except in the African Safari. The ponds with the fish, the well cared for plants were very enjoyable and worth many pictures. The owners were extremely nice and helpful for anything we needed. Strongly recommend to anyone to stay here when in Chiang Rei.

The whole property was absolutely beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. We arrived late and the host made us dinner anyway. We ordered breakfast for the next morning and it was perfect! We only wished we could’ve stayed longer. If we are ever in Chiang Rai again...we will definitely try to stay here again! Thank you very much!😃
