Pretty good
Pretty good. Location is good. Our room was quite small and didn’t have a fridge, but hotel offered free purified drinking water and ice. Weird check in process that you had to do yourself. Sends way to many texts before, during and after the visit. Do not go for breakfast at the ”pub” in the hotel, the staff was rude and wouldn’t even greet us when we came in, after a long wait of not being acknowledged, we left.

A few flaws but overall good
Before arrival I recieved several emails saying I should use the check in machines so I tried and half way through I had to leave them, with all my information on, to go to the desk and ask for the key card as they weren't present by the machines. And then I had to get in the line to re-program my key card as it apparently doesn't work to use the machines. Taking the stairs made me feel like I had entered a construction site - not clean or well kept, also lacking signs on where to go. The room itself was clean, decent size and comfortable. A bit inefficiently soundproofed and people entering/exiting their rooms sometimes felt like they were using my door :D The review sounds worse than it was though. I'd say this is a decent hotel in a great location of you want to stay downtown. Near the blue line which takes you to/from the airport too. I'd use it again.

A lot of the messages that you received before check-in were automated messages that are sent out to arrivals company-wide. Unfortunately, we (Chicago) just recently got the upgrade on our kiosk machines and are yet to be synced with the card embossers. Those should be completed in the near future to further streamline the check-in and out processes.

Overpriced. No housekeeping unless asked for under the guise of going "green" Furniture fraying. Self everything from check in to check out. Dead part of a fantastic city.

I have no real negatives for my stay at this property. Yes, at times the alley by my window would get loud with the sound of the dumpster being slammed, or how loud these elevators can be when its deathly quiet in our room. There was one instance when we contacted front desk for an iron and got the iron without an ironing board. Alas, the room was clean and free of bugs (except for a small mosquito that weirdly made it to the 5th floor) and the property itself was clean and presentable. It was an overall great stay. Best part of all, was that it was a nice walking distance to Millennium Park, restaurants, and so much more.

Staff were in general friendly and courteous. Gym was adequate. Cleaning services only occurred after 3 days, which was frustrating. This is even after I had requested the room be cleaned before that.

I only received housekeeping services once for a four night stay!! I was given a room for a disabled person that had no bathtub. I am not handicapped. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

This place was perfect for our visit to Chicago for leisure! The location could not be better - so centrally located to every place we wanted to visit. Bus to Lincoln zoo steps away, Orange Line to Midway airport, and eed line to Chinatown - every place else was easily walk-able - we loved it!! Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We will be back!

Loved how easy and central this property was. Parking a challenge, but we left our car in the lot and did everything by foot easily.
