“Weekend stay didn't disappoint! Great location near the Rough River Dam, with a view from our room that was absolutely beautiful. Check-in was fast, and the both the lodge and room were clean. A highlight was an American Eagle flying by the lodge during our morning coffee on the balcony. We will definitely be back!”

“We loved the outdoor amenities. What a beautiful place to wake up and take a moment and enjoy the beauty.The house was a little small, however the outdoor pace makes up for the size. The hot tub and fire pit area was excellent. What a wonderful host, the home had fresh flowers and chocolate on are arrival and we enjoyed the time we spend at the home. We will be back.”

“Pictures are deceiving. The building itself is old, moldy, and downright gross. The neighbors driveway is directly next to the entry way to the "cabin." The building is ok from the outside, but the location bites. The path to the lake is blocked by a large dead tree. “The property was very clean on the inside and out. So quiet at night, I heard nothing but the passing storm. There was neighbors but I didn't encounter them. Plenty of blankets, towels and kitchen supplies. The GPS didn't take me to the house and Crystal did have to help out with that. I was in the area with family and also working as a travel nurse. I would highly recommend if your looking to stay here!”

There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. “This property was absolutely beautiful. Owners were very responsive and had the best personal touches in the house. Had everything ready for your perfect stay. Fishing poles were ready, firewood for the fire pits were ready and a nice s’mores basket to go with the fire pit. I highly recommend this place. We plan on going back next summer.”
