“Watched the barges go by, enjoyed the view across the water, in a quiet rv neighborhood. Owner was quick to respond when we arrived during a storm that caused power outage. Sent us information about issues and checked back with us later to make sure everything was better. If we're ever in this area again, we have no problem coming back to this site.”

“Memories were made at this perfect getaway, my group LOVED the home, it is tucked away off the beaten path perfect for a relaxing weekend! The outside does not do it just on what the inside gave! Beds were extremely comfortable, beautiful decor, every amenity you could imagine. The farmhand came by to do some work and took us on a tour of the property's land - he was incredibly kind, told us all about the history of the home and land. We were able to pick up turkey feathers to take home! Really...

“We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The covered area was really nice and there was a constant breeze off the water to battle the August heat. We wish the property had a staircase down to the water like the neighbor's property. We had to make a trip down the road to do any fishing. With direct shoreline access, the property would be a perfect getaway! All that being said, we would definitely recommend and we will return!”

“First night in first cabin was horrible, spider webs everywhere. Very dirty and nasty. Could not sleep. Next day we got to move to another cabin. You would think they would have given us our money back for first night, but didn’t even offer. I have pictures of how nasty it was!”

“Fun time with the family! The stay was great. Everyone was so friendly, from the owner to the people at the kayak stand. I would recommend leaving a extra blanket for guests needing to use the couch. Also a chicken hung around downstairs and he was completely fine, but he left droppings in multiple places on the porch area downstairs. It was great family fun though! Thanks for having us!”

“Doug was very kind and helpful through this whole process. The cabin was nice but smaller than I expected. The water in the shower was hard to control because it would get so hot when it was on cold basically. Other than that I was very pleased with our stay we enjoy going to up the creek weekly so staying close by and being able to enjoy the river for a few nights being close by was great for our family!”
