Trevligt hotell nära havet. Visserligen ett något äldre hotell men väl underhållet. Trevligt poolområde. Det fanns en mindre sandstrand för hotellets gäster men tillgång till havet sker genom att ta kliva ner från en stege direkt ut på djupt vatten. Kan inte bedöma maten på all inclusive då vi endast bokat med frukost vilken var utmärkt. Vi åt en lättare lunch(fajitas) vid poolbaren ibland vilket var gott och prisvärt. Mycket trevlig personal och bra service. Promenadavstånd till centrum ca 15-20 minuter.

Turistigt, stojigt, ganska slitet, helt ok hotell
Rummet som jag först fick stank instängt. Då var personalen bra och jag fick byta rum. Jag hade inte all inclusive armband så jag gick ut o skulle äta. Inget ställe i närheten. Det låg helt för sig själv. Långt till det mesta. Dock bra att en kunde låna cykel. Wifit fungerade dåligt i rummet. Bra i lobbyn men det var långt bort. Rummet höll inte toppklass men helt ok. Det bästa var stranddelen som låg på andra sidan gatan. Vid poolen var det så himla stojigt. Om en gillar turister och all inclusive för familjer då passar det här säkert. Jag bytte till ett lågbudget hotell inne i centrum istället.

Mycket trevligt hotell, lugnt men ändå centralt
Fin och luftigt miljö! Fantastiskt god mat. Personalen trevlig. Både bra och mindre bra underhållning ett litet minus för hög ljudvolym på aktiviteterna när man äter middag. Ligger bra till, lagom gångavstånd till affärer och butiker. Fin snorkling på husrevet. Trevligt med lunchbuffé vid hotellets strand.

Bra mat och trevlig personal
Väldigt bra bemötande och service av personal såväl som i baren eller restaurangen. Bubbelpoolen gick att nyttja till sent på kvällen utan problem och påfyllnad av drinkar var inget man tjata om. Bra och ren pool och i övrigt välbevarat gammalt Hotel.

Hotellet ligger inte vid stranden, det är en gata emellan, men hotellet har en gång under vägen som ju är smidig. Rätt lyhört. Rätt lagomt avstånd in till "city". Acn justerade sig av sig självt, vilket var irriterande. Tog ca 10-15min att gå. Matsalen vid stranden var inte mysig. Hjälpsam personal vid dykcentret precis bredvid matsalen vid stranden. Åkte på en snorklingstur med dem. Okej snorkling men de matade fiskarna och inga direkta fina rev.

Left room service plates in the hallway. Some workers are very good at their jobs some are just here. The people who booked the adventure trips at the hotel tried to charge us an extra $20 and when we asked for our $170 back the guy had to pull $20 out of his wallet. When we originally looked online to book it was $90 a night but booked a week later and it was $1400 for 8 nights because a conference came in so watch when you book. Double rooms has dressers, nightstands and tables but a king room has 1 stand, 1 suitcase rack, nightstands and a hammock so really no place to put your things. Rooms has a refrigerator, safe and 4 clothe hangers. Air works well. Some shade on beach across the street. Not really a kid friendly beach. About a 15 minute walk to town. 10 minute walk to grocery store. Breakfast was fantastic, ordered salads one night and it was drowning ind dressing. Hamburgers were precooked and flank steak had strange seasoning and potatoes were strange taste and texture.

Most likely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had! I had to stay one night as it was close to a race I was running. Hotel had almost no food options, I ended up paying a crazy amount for a horrible buffet even though I had confirmed with them that I would be able to order from a menu restaurant. They would not turn off my balcony light even though I let them know it was important that I sleep early. The noise outside was so loud and you could hear every little thing all night. Breakfast was also subpar and very low quality food. Facilities need an update and there was dust and dirt everywhere. My room was damp and smelled if mold or something musty. Staff seem to agree with you when you tell them it’s not up to standard, not their fault but I continually tried to talk to someone. Location is out of the center so it’s not easy to go to other restaurants or bars.

I have been to this property many times over many years, before it was Wyndham. This was my worst experience. The room had NO furniture whatsoever except the beds and a refrigerator. In the past there was a dresser, a table, and two chairs. I had to bring in a plastic chair from the veranda in order to sit on the room. They would not allow me to make a room charge for the first two days, insisting I paid cash. When I questioned it at the front desk, they said it was a mistake and it was fixed. The shower needs work. The shower head old and does not move and sprays everywhere. In the good side, the breakfast buffet was very good, as in the past. I still like staying there and will probably return, but Wyndham really screwed this place up.

My advice - don't stay here
(1) Check in was abominably slow. It took 42 minutes from the time I got in line to when I had my keys. Only one person checking people in and didn't seem to care how slow he was going. Other staff members were behind the front desk, milling around, doing nothing to help. (2) No lockers available for scuba gear at the dive operation. Pathetic. (3) workout room in a dilapidated, run-down state with missing and largely inoperable equipment. (4) noisy room facing one of the busiest roads on the island (5) dirty room with hair from previous guests on the floor and in the shower, stained towels, stained bedspread (6) leaking air conditioner dripping water on our bag until we discovered it. (7) pathetic and uncomfortable pillows (8) hallway water dispensers almost always empty or inoperative (9) curtain that was too thin and ill fitting to block out the very highly lit road front facing window at night.

The pictures are great but the actual place is bad. Property maintenance poor. Front desk staff not friendly. Most of them work there because they have to, not because they want to . Dining buffet very limited in options.

I have friends on the Island and security would not them come past the lobby to visit. My whole group had to sit in the lobby to visit and he had traveled from Cancun to meet my grandsons and visit my daughters and I. The rooms are well kept, but OLD!

Enjoyed everything about the property and the staff. Only disappointment was that we thought we booked all inclusive, as our confirmation email said "all inclusive" on it. When we arrived, the front desk staff told us that the "all inclusive" was just in the title of the hotel and that we did not have an all inclusive package. Very deceptive.

Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this property. Staff are great, very clean. Beds are barely above Motel 6 quality. The foam mattress pads are too mushy. No refrigerators normally. You have to ask for one and pay 50 dollars a day that is stocked with beer and drinks. Or 25 a day for just the refrigerator. To the hotel's credit, they did put one in our room when I told them I needed one to store medication and did not charge me. The bathroom is so far out of date it's pitiful. It is a tub/shower combo that doesn't have a fixture for running water in the tub, only a shower head. The main problem is access to the tub.The tub wall is better than 2 feet off the ground. Short people or infirm people will have a big problem getting into and out of the tub. The commode area is about 3 feet by 3 feet. Hardly any comfortable room in there. There was ample hot water and water pressure was great. The room a/c is a mini-split type that appeared fairly new. Worked very well cooling the room down after housekeeping would turn it up every day. We were busy most days away from the hotel so didn't enter the pool. Looked clean however. Best thing going is the free breakfast included, but it's typical buffet food. Cooked earlier and soggy by the time it's served. There is an open self serve bar for bloody marys and mimosas and the free parking is good if you have a rent car. To sum up, although we first stayed at this hotel in 1996, it's off our list in the future

What sets this hotel apart from the others is the staff. They treat you like family. Indeed we consider many of them to be our extended family. We have enjoyed this resort many times over the years. Can’t wait to return next year.

We've stayed the numerous times. Very convenient to walk to the grocery store and to town. Also their beach area is very clean and private. Plenty of good snorkeling.

We love staying here. The separate areas with the beach on one side of the road and the swimming pool on the resort side is ideal, believe it or not. Love the breakfast by the ocean every morning and the snorkeling is so easy and was really great this year. We don’t do the all inclusive and enjoy the walk in to town in the evenings for great local food. So much live music in town to enjoy also.

I LOVE the hacienda style courtyard and pool. Very safe for little ones. Loved the addition of the bicycles-great for exercise. Eating breakfast while overlooking the ocean is a favorite. I like the tunnel under the busy street and the dive shop on the property is so convenient. One question: why did you remove the ladder into the water next to the pier?
