The bed was beautiful with very comfortable pillows. The stairways were very nicely painted and adorned with fabulous art. Coffee was available every morning and delicious ice water all day. Checkout wasn't until noon!

Loved the property overall. There is a bit of noise from adjoining rooms but with our sound machine it was fine. One interesting find was the thermostat is locked and you have no control of air temperature in your room. Fortunately we didn’t have an issue in having to adjust but could see a problem there. Also the shower might need a bit more attention with the calking coming off was a little concerning. The shopping fining was excellent and within a doubt we will be returning…., sooner than later.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Rooms are nice. Live music in the lounge is always amazing. Many options for dining including Rick’s Chophouse attached to the hotel. Fun place.

The property is exactly as described. It’s quaint and has an old world charm. Staff is friendly, only bad thing is there are no chairs, desks, fridge or microwave. Not for business travel. It’s roomy enough for those extra conveniences. Also you can hear the noise from the hallway.

Will come back again
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Grand and only wish I could have stayed longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a great size. I would say it's more BNB than hotel, but it works for me. The location was fantastic and I really enjoyed my time in downtown McKinney.

Overall, I had the absolute best time! I came to celebrate my 40th birthday with my best friends, and was thoroughly pleased with our stay! I especially loved the hospitality! The uniqueness of the different rooms was pretty cool to see as well. After checking out, I received a phone call from Will. He told me that I left behind my shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. He told me that they would be able to send them back to me, and that absolutely made my day!! I felt like the staff went above and beyond and I truly appreciated that.

This property is really run down. Broken furniture. Chipped and cracked vanities, peeling ceiling tiles, and no insulation. We could hear multiple conversations from down the hallway. On the second floor we heard someone vacuuming at 6:30am. When we asked front desk they said the morning vacuums downstairs! We heard it underneath us! Not impressed for the amount of money you spend. I wouldn’t stay again

Best place to stay in McKinney.
This is hands down the best place to stay in McKinney. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is courteous and helpful, and, having stayed here many times, the service is consistently excellent.

The Grand Hotel was our home away from home for our trip to McKinney to visit with a good friend. We had excellent service, amazing food, and the bar entertainment was on Friday and Saturday night was awesome. Thank you Grand Hotel for a memorable weekend!
