Adorable Cottage with Unique View!
We loved our stay at the cottage. The view was very unique, as it overlooks a gorgeous cliff with a massive cave. You can't beat the sound of the waves crashing against the cliff at sunset. We would definitely recommend that folks who stay here are very comfortable with each other, as the cottage is small and there is no door or separate room to the shower. A perfect couples getaway.

The house itself is fine. Let’s start with check in. I did not receive instructions before we arrived so I messaged through the app and a half hour later still had not heard anything. Finally I called the number provided who contacted the company. Then I got a terse text saying they had sent the email a week previously but that they would send another. Got in the house and there was no window covering for the window that looks directly onto the bed and into the bath/shower area. So I called the number of the rental agency where I was met with a very uncaring attitude and almost rude. I was told that an order had been put in but that I couldn’t be handled until the next day. I said that would not be acceptable as I didn’t even have a place to change without being visable to the outside. The listing name of this place is “honeymoon cottage” so you can imagine that most people come with a romantic weekend in mind and are not looking for an audience. While on the phone with the management company I asked to have the fireplace fixed as we were unable to get it going. We were going to get supper so maintenance would be there most likely while we were gone. As we tried to leave we got trapped in the house. The only lock on the door is a deadbolt and that was unlocked, however the door handle would not work. Hector came and got blinds installed was unable to fix fireplace and also got locked inside so taped the latch so the door could open.

A favorite getaway place
Quiet and comfortable for two people. We've stayed here twice. Great for walking to everything in Depoe Bay. Whale sightings are a plus.

Charming cottage and perfect location
This cottage was everything it represented online. It’s an absolutely charming and comfy cottage, perfect for two. My spouse and I enjoyed it as a central location for touring up and down the Oregon coast. When we returned in the evenings, we’d open up the windows to feel the cool breezes off of the bay and listen to the crashing waves. One evening I took a short walk up the hill and followed the path back to the rocks for an impressive show of the powerful waves crashing on the rocks. This sweet little cottage was the perfect respite for a long weekend.

Disappointed
I was unimpressed. and to be perfectly honest underwhelmed. with the property It seemed cute in the photographs but fell short of charming for me. The Bed was so uncomfortable I was unable to sleep and so I left after the first night, finding more comfortable accommodations down the coast at a hotel. Should you be young lovers' seeking a perfect hideaway, this is for you. For those of use way past that in life, simply ass and go with a comfy hotel or home made for we seniors.

Cute cottage
Cute one room cottage with plenty of room for two people. Comfortable bed and sofa. Nice shower. The only suggestion would to have a small drain board for the few dishes we used instead of the dishwasher.

Quaint & Cozy House
The house was updated with modern amenities and decor. It was perfect for watching for gray whales just outside of the house and from the window. The house was clean and quiet. The shower and restroom were a bit on the “open” side of things, but were still very clean and updated. Suggest getting a privacy screen for the shower and covering the top of the bathroom with a window to minimize others in the house from private “noises.” All in all it was a very good experience and enjoyed our wedding anniversary weekend at the little house on the bay!

Good
Everything was great except the fireplace. It would not stay lit. Fire would go out after 5 to 10 minutes. Was told a technician came out and fixed it while we were out. Same problem.

A great long weekend!
A very relaxing time and a great experience. We enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the ocean. We also enjoyed the sights of the whales and as well as the great beaches. The bench above the arch was amazing. The cottage was very comfortable and relaxing for two. We had a great time would love to go back.

Great Location for Couples Getaway
Lovely cottage, nice attention to decorating to fit the coastal vibe. Kitchen was well appointed for a few meals cooked in. Also, really enjoyed knowing it was on old fisherman's house. The renovations were really smart and the double-sided fireplace is a great touch. The house is essentially one large room, including the bath/shower and bathroom sink, but clever use of the fireplace and partial wall provided plenty of needed separation of bedroom, bathroom from living area and kitchen. This made the whole place feel plenty large for such a small building. Loved the side deck with the Adirondack chairs, as well as the public bench just steps off that deck. Location of the house is terrific, providing the sitting areas outside with a view of what felt like our own private cove down below the cliff, as well as some great walking trails out on the point nearby and close to town, very walkable. Would return and recommend to others.

Great for a weekend getaway!
My wife and I stayed here for the weekend, and it was awesome. The location is a short walk from the downtown area, several coffee shops, and the Depoe Bay Scenic Area. The inside of the house was even nicer than what it looked like in the photos, very clean, and even had WiFi (at time of writing internet isn't listed in the amenities at all). It's clear much care is taken with the upkeep of this cottage, and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back for a second stay!

Beautiful Location, lovely stay
This studio home is steps away from Arch rock in Depot Bay. It is close in to town and yet quiet. The home is well appointed, tastefully decorated and clean. I would recommend for a romantic get away. We loved the gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub/shower combo.

Beautiful little studio cottage with an amazing view right out the back door. The only slight complaint I have is check in was scheduled for 4pm, and the cottage was not ready until about 20 minutes after that. Certainly a place I would consider visiting again

Liked everything except the open shower arrangement.
Great property with the exception of the bathroom arrangement with only a door on the water closet with the walls not going to the ceiling.. The open concept floor plan great with the exception of the shower being readily viewable and anyone using the water closet could be heard.

Perfect vacation cottage
This little cottage was exactly what we needed for our vacation. Our expectations were exceeded when we first walked in! There have been upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom since the pictures on this listing were taken. The whole cottage was thoroughly clean, and it had everything we needed. As far as the location, it's perfect. You can walk into town and do a little shopping, or walk to a scenic viewpoint and maybe catch sight of a whale or two! All in all, 10/10 would come again.

We absolutely loved staying at this quiet, clean and cute property. The location is within walking distance to local eateries & great views. The home was impeccably clean, warm and inviting. This cottage is so charming! You can’t tell from the photos online how much ocean you get. It’s really unique to see it at low tide. The house itself maximizes space and feels high end. Everything we needed was there (we planned to cook but ended up ordering from some local places). It seemed like there was fresh paint on the island in the kitchen, I was worried we were going to damage it since it was unfinished and there weren’t any coasters. There was some confusion over the key code to access the home but I got ahold of someone right away after hours and we got access.

Wonderful Depoe Bay Cottage
My husband and I stayed at the cottage to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We loved it! Clean, nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed. We loved the great view just a short walk up the street. Depoe Bay is a fantastic place to watch whales! The cottage was a short drive to several beautiful beaches and great restaurants. We loved our stay!

We found this little place (more a cabin than cottage) to be everything we needed for a wonderful few days in Depot Bay. Yes, you would really want to be close to the person you stay here with because there is not any privacy much, but it worked well for us. The location worked pretty well for us but might be a little hit or miss depending on timing with other maybe large gatherings taking place near by houses. We felt we hit it lucky with mostly quiet evenings there. Nice Place we appreciated staying there at the beautiful location with clean and inviting furnishings, thank you!
