“The home was just as we hoped. Very clean, modern decorating, new kitchen and bathrooms, heating was warm and working well. We were allowed to bring our dogs, who had a secure back garden to play in. Nothing bad to say, the owners Steve and Carole, were wonderful and responsive. Thank you, we will be coming back!”

“This accomodation has been the best we’ve experienced so far on our trip. The bed was large and comfortable , the living area and kitchen were just right and the bathroom with bath was wonderful . It was lovely and quiet in spite of being close to shops. It was easy walking distance to bus station and pubs. Overall a terrific place to base ourselves whilst exploring Yorkshire. And we loved the heated floors☺️”

“This accomodation is excellent, clean, spacious and modern and everything supplied for a super stay! The beds are very comfortable with spotless bedding. Its location is perfect for visiting York and the park and ride services are cheap and very efficient. Our host, Julie who we met is delightful and the complementary bottle of wine was well received after a long journey! Thank you for a superb stay.”

“This is the most incredible place we have stayed at in the UK. The house was very spacious and super comfortable. The host was so helpful and exceeded our expectations with the Christmas decorations which were incredible. It was the BEST place to celebrate Christmas with our family. Highly recommend ‘The Hawthorns’ to anyone looking for something truly special!”

“The owners are very nice and obviously love their garden. The house was comfortable. However with a few tweaks our stay could have been fantastic. We have pointed these out to the owners, but in particular as mentioned previously particulars should be amended to reflect that the George and Dragon is now closed.”

“We were visiting family in Hull for a short, unexpected while and found this flat last minute. The location was great and we easily walked pretty much everywhere we needed in Beverley itself, and the parking spot was an added bonus for our car (though it was a tight spot, our Vauxhall Corsa just about fit). The flat was well equipped with the basics, and very comfortable, and Katie was very accommodating and a delight to talk to when we had questions. Friday through Sunday night got a bit loud...
