“First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us).”

“The house was small, but I knew it would be. The only place that felt cramped was the shower, and I managed it. The pull-out bed was quite comfortable. I didn't need Carol for anything, but if I had I'm confident she would have been immediately responsive.”

“The apartment is very comfortable with all you need. Well presented and spotlessly clean throughout. Within a minutes walk from Pittenweem harbour, with parking on the street outside. The terrace looking straight out to sea and the Isle of May is wonderful and we enjoyed drinks in the sunshine as we were fortunate with the weather for the end of April. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment - a cut above as my mother in law used to say.”

A little beach right across the road and park around the corner perfect for our 8 year old daughter. Comfy, cosy beds and spacious lounge with fire stick so great for watching family movies at night. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. “Idyllic is the word - Pittenweem is a lovely little fishing village and a great base for wider travel, and this house is just perfect - really well presented, large enough that you aren't all tripping over each other and very quiet. Sam is a terrific host too.”

“Location of Bothwell Court is fantastic. In St Leonards down the road from the supermarket and train station. Dunfermline town centre a short stroll away too. The flat overall is great and very warm and got some cool gadgets in it also. The shower is absolutely amazing and probably one of the best you will come across. Little touches like small amenities and drinks/snacks left for your stay is a wonderful touch. Aside from some dirtiness in the kitchen (which is being sorted) overall the place...
