“We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was clean and checking in and out was a breeze. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants and is just a short walk to the Latin Quarter. There is also a small Tesco just up the street. But the killer feature of this place is the amazing view out across Galway Bay. Pictures don’t do it justice, it is spectacular. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

“Es war rundherum ein sehr schöner und entspannter Aufenthalt. Alles ist in dem schönen und geschmackvoll gestalteten Cottage vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzer:in war hervorragend. Uns fehlte es an nichts! Grandiose Umgebung, tolle Umgebung, beeindruckende Farben und sehr Nette Nachbarn! Herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt :)”

“We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh.”

“I preferred this location as we were just outside the Latin Quarter, just a few minutes walk. Communication was great and assistance was prompt if anything was needed. Also, Tesco is just at the end of the street, making it that much easier to get the necessary goods.”

“Well located with 10 -15 minute walk to the hopping Latin Quarter and pub and groceries a few minutes walk away. Great parking options as we had 2 cars, laundry available and basic but functional kitchen. Basic amenities but great spot for our trip to Galway. Great communication from hosts and I would highly recommend.”

“What an amazing place to spend Christmas! There was a Christmas tree in the window, right next to the fire. We slept great, enjoyed wonderful meals with the fully equipped kitchen, explored the area, walked to a pub or two and just relaxed. Loved our visit. Bernie, that checked us in, was the sweetest. Thank you!”

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
