“We arrived late in the evening, and settled in. The room is actually a mother-in-law suite connected like a duplex to a beautiful cottage/home. The online pictures do not do it justice! It’s quaint, welcoming, cozy, very clean and well supplied. If I could add anything I would just add a regular coffee maker vs. the over-pour. There are many things to do, and this place is just behind the main square. You can all to everything downtown from here. It was perfect for us. We will return.”

“Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing...

“My best friend and I had 2 days of peace and quiet except for the birds. It was exactly what we were looking for. We so enjoyed our coffee on the porch. It was a short distance to the river and a very nice place to fish and/or picnic. We have never been treated as well at any other cabins. Fresh eggs and just picked spinach? Doesn't get any better.
