Bekvämt och trevligt.
Detta hotell är mycket fint: Mycket fin inredning, bekväm säng,det mycket rent överallt. Service är mycket hög nivå, uppmärksamma, hjälpsamma och kunniga personal. Maten är mycket bra. Om det hade varit att öppenspisen fungerad, det skulle vara ännu bättre. Annars är vi mycket nöjda med vår vistelse.

Renoverat hotell i historsk byggnad
Nyrenoverat hotell i gammal byggnad med knarrande golv och sneda vinklar. Perfekt läge mitt i stad i naturskön trakt med stora vandringsmöjligheter.

Mycket centralt beläget hotell med alla affärer runt hörnet. Tät trafik på gatan men vårt rum låg mot gården och var helt tyst. Ingen hiss men ett mycket charmigt hotell. Hjälpsam personal.

Charmigt, nyrenoverat hotell med anor
Charmigt, gammalt, nyrenoverat hotell. Ung oerfaren personal som inte har koll på mycket, men är väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Om ett tag fungerar det nog bättre. Restaurangen är mycket bättre än med tidigare ägare, men den kontinentala frukosten lite mager. Utmärkt som utgångspunkt för vandringar.

The white horse was spectacular! The rooms were of such a high quality, with amazing touches like a personal note & treats! We had lunch at the pub which was just delicious. I will be coming back and recommending to everyone! K & m x

This is a centuries old (coaching?)inn which has been sympathetically renovated. Nice touches in the room included crafted chocs and a coffee machine.

Excellent refurb. Great service, great food, great accommodation! Staff were very helpful and really looked after us and our needs. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely beautiful interiors, friendly staff and little touches that make all the difference. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property, refurb is top class with lovely rooms. High street is lovely with plenty of other pubs and restaurants nearby. If you can’t get a space in the White Horse car park there is ample parking nearby.

Breakfast was very disorganised, insufficient cutlery, glasses etc on table. Presentation of food also poor. Empty plates were not collected from table so guests had to remove them onto spare tables to make room. Bedroom was dusty and a bit tatty. Lovely check in at reception, lady very friendly & helpful.

Well located, clean and comfortable. I had booked 2 nights separately due to change of plans. Was upgraded on first night to the better room that i had booked for second. Down side (which is partly out of the hotels control) is the noise from people returning between 11pm and 1am who have zero consideration and have liyd conversations at top of stairs and in corridor. No one present at check out to feed back to.

Staff was great, room was very comfortable, and clean. Only thing is that the rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning which I didnt realize when booking but they provided a fan and also since it wasn’t too hot outside the rooms were still nice and cool. The area of the hotel is great. Wonderful small town vibes with access to so many stores/ bars/ restaurants all within walking distance.

Eveything was very good exept from the suite we stayed in being extremely hot and there was no way of getting any airflow going due to locks on the windows. We had a little fan however it could not cope with it being warm weather.

The carpet in the room appeared old and worn. The room was right on the main Dorking High Street and was terribly noisy. The staff serving breakfast were obviously overworked as the table was not set properly, asked for more coffee - never came. I was offered a special breakfast rate which reception seemed to know nothing about. The whole experience was one I will not be repeating.

Lovely old hotel in the heart of town. We chose this hotel for proximity to Gatwick, while looking to avoid a airport hotel, and found it very pleasant. Very comfortable bed, and truly excellent shower! With no lift available, we did have to schlep our bags up stairs, but had assistance from a very helpful staffer. Only complaint is that there was not enough parking available for all guests, so we had to find our own parking in town.
