Very good
It was clean, good roomservice, good over all service and really nice bathroom with a shower wich felt like standing in hot rain. The only thing I did'nt like was the sound from the bathroom. It made some noice (like a pump or something simular started) eveytime we used the shower, flushed the toilet or cleaned our hands.

Trevlig personal.Litet rum men behöver inte vara stort heller,skön säng,hade dock kunnat vara mer power i duschen(strilade som ett vackert sommarregn)Vi åt middag där på kvällen det var fantastiskt gott.Ok frukost.

Ålderdomlig inredning långt från centrum
Vårt rum saknade det mesta av inredning. Det fanns inte varsin stol eller ett skrivbord i rummet. Badrummet innehöll dusch och toastol samt världens minsta handfat. För övrigt fick vi sitta på sängarna. Läslampor vid sängarna saknades Det gällde att ha takbelysningen tänd om man ville ligga och läsa. Gamla fönster som knappt gick att öppna.

Charmigt, fräscht bra läge och utmärkt restaurang
Dubbelrummet var litet, men välutrustat och perfekt för en övernattning, Sängen mycket bekväm. Restaurangen är utmärkt och personeln serviceinriktad. Det är enkelt och långt ifrån dyrt att ta taxi från eller till Edinburghs flygplats. Enda invändningen är glasdörren till badrummet, den är frostade, men man bör inte dela rum med andra än make eller små barn. Och glöm inte att sätta på handdukstorken/badrumselementet.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Murrayfield! Rodica was a wonderfully welcoming front desk host and we adored the property (which is actually 3 individual historic buildings). The restaurant catered fully to our needs with options for vegans and gluten free choices. The room itself was beautiful, quiet and cozy with everything we needed. One of our favorite stays in Scotland and definitely suggest staying here if you have a car and don't want to be worrying about parking in the heart of Edinburgh. The bus stop was just a few steps from our room and took us straight into the heart of Edinburgh in less than 10 minutes. The Murrayfield neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!

Stayed several times in the past and always enjoyed it. This time was very disappointing room very small no room to put anything. The two biggest complaints are the breakfast and service was very poor. I found it disappointing that the American way of adding a service charge on in the restaurant without pointing it out upsetting especially as in the past the Murrayfield was always excellent and we always looked forward to visiting. Not anymore

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was lovely and quiet. Can’t comment on food as didn’t eat in the hotel. All staff really friendly and helpful especially Barnaby in the bar. Look forward to returning. The anniversary card and sweet treats was a lovely touch too. Nice toiletries in bathroom too

Nice Hotel
Loved our stay at the Murrayfield Hotel. We arrived on an early flight and it was no problem to have our luggage stored until check-in time. The receptionist was very welcoming. It was a Rugby weekend so the hotel was very busy but this didn’t affect our stay. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Being on the bus route from the airport into town makes this hotel really convenient. We will definitely stay again.

The staff at the bar were very slow; we waited for 10 minutes to order our drinks. Additionally, the breakfast service was slow, and we waited for half an hour. The fried eggs were solid and hard. Furthermore, our room was tiny, and it was excessively warm because the radiator was on, and we couldn't turn it off.

Fabulous breakfast on the doorstep of Murrayfield
Wonderful hotel, ideally located for the stadium, literally a couple of minuutes walk away. Room was huge (family room), bathroom was very nice but works better for couples - the glass doors right in front of the beds were a little weird. Breakfast was awesome, freshly cooked plus buffet option. Best value breakfast I've had in a long time. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Would strongly recommend.

Godt førstehåndsindtryk af hotellet. Fin beliggenhed og venlig og imødekommende personale. Desværre var der skimmelsvamp og mug ved ruderne, og der lugtede kraftigt af det. Vi var nød til at have vinduerne åbent konstant. Også et minus der var gulvtæpper, det virkede lidt uhygiejnisk.

I bought a night at the Murrayfield Hotel for my very good friend for her Christmas. We checked in and was given her key for room 19. We were so excited to see the room before venturing out with family. We found the room very basic and tired looking. There was a stain on the white bedding, the curtains were very frayed. There was a stain on the seat at the dresser and also a stain on the box at the bottom of the bed. However my friend thought the breakfast was great. She was well taken care of and had a a great selection of continental and hot breakfasts to choose from.

A little home away from home
This is my second stay at the Murrayfield in just a few weeks for work and it’s honestly become a home away from home. There are so many room types and options to suit everyone, the staff are so warm and welcome and the rooms are so comfortable. It’s beautifully done at Christmas time and the staff always go above and beyond to help. Always happy to stay here.

Beautiful stay at the Murrayfield
Never stayed at the murrayfield but had to make a last minute booking for 3 days and I was not disappointed. The room was fairly large in size, with a a wall length tv, sofa, dressing area and separate shower room. All super clean and comfortable. The hotel is on the main road in to the city centre which took approx 15/20mins so really handy for getting around. Beautiful at Christmas time and the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Nice looking hotel from the outside Plus Location good car parking 10mins walk to tram stop (although dark at night across the park) and then 10mins into city Negatives Despite different trying different times of the day water not hit enough for a shower Room very small but was comfortable

Kitchen on a sunday closed by 8.30pm Shower mould in grout Bathroom floor loose tiles missing grout Toilet roll holder and shower gel, Shampoo holder off wall, shower gel at sink not in shower. Overall poor condition nicer places to stay.

Edinburgh stay 23
I stayed here for my birthday trip to Edinburgh with my husband. The room was lovely however we did have a love/hate relationship with the heating as the room was cold on arrival then hot when we had the heating on. It was purely controlled by the radiators and was on 24/7 so was quite hard to manage. The breakfast was great and the Scottish breakfast was particularly amazing. There was a great selection and variety. The busses from outside the hotel were every 10 minutes so provided a great link to the city centre. The room and hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room (202) could however benefit from some privacy glass as our window looked out into a courtyard and we could see in from the hallway when we checked. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming - we would definitely stay here again.
