Fantastiskt läge
Slitet rum i bra belägen stor "villa". Mycket trevlig känsla att bo i något som en gång var ett hem. Trevligt sällskapsrum där wifi fulngerar. Annars fungerar det inte alls på hotellet. Härligt med tillgång till pool som kostar 8€ per dag. Rummet mörkt (dålig belysning), litet och rätt slitet med hårda sängar och kuddar och ibland droppande luftkonditionering. Tyvärr hade vi dessutom en byggnadsställning utanför fönstret då hotellets utsida renoverades juni 2015. Ok frukost, men saknade färsk frukt och brödet var (som väntat) lite tråkigt om man inte ville ha croisanter eller sötsaker till frukost . Ibland kö till enda kaffeautomaten... 10 min promenad till flertalet sevärdheter och mataffär nära. Personalen inte så serviceminded men ok.

Hotel carino e tranquillo
Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo hotel per tre notti. L'edificio è situato in un'ottima zona, pulita e tranquilla. La camera quadrupla era abbastanza ampia e con un bel bagno spazioso. Ho trovato la camera molto pulita e il personale molto cordiale. La colazione era a buffet, c'era veramente di tutto e di ottima qualità.

Je kunt bij dit hotel niet pinnen!! Heel onhandig als je dat pas hoort als je uitcheckt.... Parkeren kost 25 euro per dag. Sta je wel veilig.

מרחק סביר מהמרכז, מלון משופץ באווירה נוחה
מיקום קצת רחוק מהמרכז, עשר דקות הליכה, אבל נחמד למי שממילא אוהב ללכת. קרוב לשוק המרכזי, ואם הולכים מעט צפונה ומזרחה - אפשר לשבת בפארק ענק, יפהפה ורגוע.

Rude and condescending staff!
We chose the hotel for the location - walk distance to Santa Maria del Fiore - and the swimmingpool. However, we were very surprised by the additional fees for almost everthing: parking, access to the pool, wifi etc. - read carefully before booking! In addition, the staff at the reception was very rude and condescending, even a bit hostile, making you feel uncomfortable right from the start. Not how you want your vacation to start. We will definitely not come back.

Più cordialità. ...
L'hotel è situato in un ottima posizione nel cuore di Firenze. La struttura è molto graziosa situata in una antica villa fiorentina.La colazione a buffet era mediocre con caffè e cappuccino dalla macchinetta. La wifi gratuita era limitata nella zona della reception. L'acqua calda della doccia nella nostra camera aveva poca pressione. Avremmo preferito una cordialità maggiore.

Loved this hotel!
Hotel is well located and easy to walk everywhere. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and breakfast offers a good variety. We will definitely return.

Charmantes, ruhig gelegenes Hotel in Zentrumsnähe.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Sein historisch anmutendes Ambiente und das kompetente und freundliche Personal sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Da man sich nach einem ca. zehnminutigen Spaziergang im historischen Zentrum der Stadt befindet, kann man die Lage als sehr gut bezeichnen. Was den guten Gesamteindruck beinträchtigt,sind die hohen Gebühren für den Parkplatz und Poolbenutzung.

En premier lieu des gens très sympathiques et qui ne manquent pas d'humour. Ensuite un hotel confortable dans un bâtiment de caractère avec toutes les commodités. Enfin sa situation aux limites de l'hyper centre offre l'avantage de la proximité des lieux à visiter mais également la tranquilité et le repos dans le parc, auprès de la piscine ou dans le très accueuillant salon. En un mot, parfait.

Professional, cheerful,, welcoming staff Large spacious room - full service daily which was so nice after returning from sightseeing. Large bathroom with shower & bath Delicious breakfast in a sunny room & a magnificent lounge with artwork to relax & use free Wifi. A large garden with pool & a handy supermarket a few doors down. 15 min walk from Firenze Santa Maria Novella station or an inexpensive taxi ride.

L’hôtel royal est très bien situé pour sillonner Florence. Nous n'avons pas été bien accueillis à la réception. Notre chambre équipée simplement mais confortable était située dans une annexe. Les extérieurs sont agréables avec une très belle piscine. Attention un supplément de 8€ par adulte et 6€ par enfants. Le petit déjeuner est sans basique. L’ensemble est très vieillot et mérite une rénovation.

Beautiful Florence
Hotel Royal is in a quiet part of Florence, 15 min walk from train station. Walking distance to everything Florence has to offer. Hotel breakfast was satisfactory, staff accommodating with any inquiries, directions etc. overall had a nice stay at Hotel Royal

街中なのに、優雅にくつろげるホテル。
ロケーションがよくて、ホテルの雰囲気も、ヨーロッパを感じる事が出来て、しかもプール付きでした。スタッフも親切で、良かったです。一週間滞在しました。ドォーモまで、歩いて10分くらいで行け、中央市場までは、5分くらいで行けたので、買い物や夜食を買うのにも、便利でした。しかも、ホテル並びにスーパーがあって、お水や日用品は、安く手に入りました。機会が、あったらまた、泊まりたいです。ただ、部屋で、Wi-Fiが使えなかったのが残念。

Great place to explore Florence
Good place to explore Florence. Safe neighborhood, just 5-10 walking minutes to most sights, restaurants and shops. Main Train station is about 1 km away. Small Supermarket next door and little pizza place within 2 min that also offer take away. Parking available but costs high- 25€/day. There is a pool available but didn't use it. they charge you 8€/person per day even for sunbathing!!, internet is available but only in the lounge area - not in the rooms. Breakfast is available - skip it and have it somewhere else. I would come again

An aristocratic heritage, lovely period furniture, set back from a quiet road on the north east edge of the tourist zone. Great to have off street parking, not included in the quoted price, but worth the convenience if travelling by car and staying a few days. Easily accessible by car if you do not miss the turning, the restricted zone starts beyond the hotel, on a one way street! The Cathedral and the centre are just 10 minutes walk. Bed and Breakfast at a very reasonable price but no restaurant. Many others nearby on the way to the centre meet every meal requirement, particularly the Tiberio just down the street. Even closer is a Carrefour Express which can meet most other needs. Lovely pool in a quiet garden unexpected amongst the urban surroundings. Good sized room but slightly cramped shower & loo. Gives the impression of being family run and not many staff but very willing. The hotel is owned by a trust and well maintained but no plans to invest, income from the foundation set up by the last Count goes to charity. The bar has a 1920's feel, circular and marble. Breakfast simple but sufficient, not cooked and not too many options. Like the hotel, just right, and thank goodness for the air conditioning. Florence was incredibly hot, but we knew it would be, and magnificent. We will return.

Family trip to Florence
After reading mixed reviews I was uncertain as to what to expect. We were made very welcome and given a choice of rooms. The one we chose was huge, double and two single beds. As it was the middle of a heatwave the air con was always on max. The pool and garden are lovely and a real treat so close to the centre in a heat wave. The outside has recently been decorated and looks great. The inside is traditional in style. The location is very good with only a ten min walk to most attractions. The breakfast was good, fresh pastries, good coffee including decaf, meats etc( would have liked some fresh fruit ). The wifi in lounge is good and the area is very grand and confortable to be in. We had a great stay there, it exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return

Disappointed
I stay for 3 nights there. The hotel itself is nice because is a old building, but my room was as old as the building, very update. The hair dryer was from the 60's and didn't do the job is just loud. My room was a single bed, which is located in next to the elevator, my bedeas by thebavk wall of the elevator, was very loud through the night. Not good idea. Service was ok, nothing exceptional. They have wifi in one ofthe living room so you can't search in the internet in the "confort" of your room. And you need to be very quiet.

Séjour agréable, personnel très gentil. A proximité du centre ville, permet d'accéder à tous les monuments à pieds. Dommage que la piscine soit en extra et surtout à 8,00€ par personne et par jour.(Voilà une option qui gonfle bien la facture si on l'utilise. Taxes de séjour à 3,50€ par personne et par jour et un parking à 20,00€ par jour.(deux autres options qui n'en sont pas puisque la taxe est obligatoire et est fixée par la commune et le parking est conseillé aux vues de l'étroitesse des ruelles et de l'état des voitures qui y sont stationnées.

Personnel amical, chambre confortable, salon élégant, parc reposant. Cet hôtel, certes à environ 1 Km du centre de la ville historique est situé dans une rue calme. On peut, même au mois d'Août, accéder, à peu de distance à un restaurant comme à une supérette "Carrefour". Son confort serait tout à fait satisfaisant si l'accès au WiFi dans les chambres, promis depuis quelques années était enfin offert.

Skønt ophold på et flot hotel med parkering og gå afstand til centrum. Morgenmaden er helt fin uden at være prangende. Eneste minus er wifee som kun er tilgængelig i hotellets stue.

Gammel rigmandsvilla ombygget til hotel, holdt i den gamle stil, hyggeligt. Er ikke ny-renoveret, men rent og pænt, ligger 10 min. gang fra centrum. Men 8 eur pr. dag pr næse, for at bruge svømmepøl er for dyrt.

een paar dagen in dit hotel geweest. moeder en dochter ( 54 en 21 jaar) ontbijt was prima, kamer iedere dag schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken. personeel vriendelijk we sliepen op de bovenverdieping, wel veel trappen op.

Koselig hotell med god atmosfære
Hotel Royal i Firenze er et koselig og fredelig hotell med fin beliggenhet i forhold til togstasjon og det historiske sentrum av Firenze (kort gangavstand). Rommene har god størrelse, aircondition som funker bra selv om det var 35 grader ute og ikke minst fredelig og stille beliggenhet tilbaketrukket fra trafikkerte gater. Hotellet ligger i en gammel villa og det ligger nok mye historie i veggene her. God atmosfære og en perfekt base for fotturer i sentrum av Firenze. Kan absolutt anbefales.
