“One of the most unique and amazing places we’ve ever stayed! Lovely resort of treehouses built in a remote setting with all the amenities you could need. The staff were all super friendly and could not do enough to help you was an absolute pleasure to have them there. Would recommend to anybody travelling on the garden route or staying in Plettenberg to stay here it would make an unforgettable memory. ”

“The Aquamarine guest house is a gem in terms of comfort, service and location- with a view over the bay. Highly recommended- but the parking is really at your own risk. Not for theft but for damaging the car when getting into the awkward parking lots. There is however a free taxi shuttle- so once you have parked you don’t need to use the car until you leave. Unfortunately we had a shuttle driver with annoyingly strong opinions about the situation in South Africa, but maybe we were just unlucky...

“It feels a bit old-fashioned and needs a renovation. But this is compensated by a fabolous view from most of the rooms. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and the food is wonderful.”

“Knysna Hollow is a quiet and well kept hotel, good for families. Nice pool areas and robust breakfast. The rooms are lacking AC. Our room had an unpleasant smell but not the other four rooms we had. The birds can be disturbing in the morning. It is a 30 minute walk to the Waterfront.”
