Härligt hotell, med fint läge i lugn by. Perfekt för en kortare vistelse eller som utgångspunkt för utflykter. Härliga restauranger och god frukost, jättefin utsikt.

Peace and quiet with views
Very nice located hotel with a bit faded charm. Perfect for relaxation trips with splendid views, perfect service and very nice stretched hotel area (around 300m longisde the lake). Probably most preferred by age 50+ with it's calmness and friendlyness. Special eulogy to the head of bar; Massimo a huge asset to the hotel with his manner and wittiness! If you don't want noisy kids and just want to relaxe a couple of days- this is the hotel in the Garda region. Been there several times.

Not entirely satisfied
A hotel that lives on old merits. Overlooking lake Garda, naturally it has a fantastic view. Location is ok in the middle of a busy street, very old and worn hotel, friendly staff without any extras, classic mix ups and errors due to lack of language skills (even by staff at a 4 star?!) and a pricey twist to everything from drink to food compared to the level of actual performance in cooking. Would not recommend nor stay again, even at half price per room, which says a lot to me...

Fantastiskt läge vid Gardasjön
Helheten var bra, vi hade utsikt över Gardasjön vilken var väldigt fint. Rummet var ok och uppfyllde sin funktion. Frukosten var ok, man äter sig igenom buffén på en-två dagar. Men att bara sitta med en kopp kaffe/espresso på morgonen och njuta av utsikten gör att man blir glad. Sängarna var lite hårda men vi sov bra ändå. Det är inte billigt runt sjöarna i norra Italien och hotellpriserna är anpassade efter det men det är absolut värt ett besök. Vi tycker att läget är bra och det finns ett antal restauranger och affärer i närheten.

Supernöjda med detta hotell. läget, servicen och frukosten. det enda negativa var övrig mat och dryck som var allt för dyrt i förhållande till vad man fick.

I saw the Grand Hotel Gardone on a ferry boat stop on a cruise of Lake Garda two years ago and I vowed to stay here one day! It exceeded my expectations and was the perfect 3-night stay for rest and relaxation. The room was lovely and the lake view was stunning! The breakfast buffet was exceptional - one of the best of anywhere I have stayed before. It was abundant, generous, and nutritiously overflowing with Mediterranean options. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and gracious. My only disappointment was not to have a paino player in the lounge. With the lovely piano begging to be played, that would have added to the atmosphere, tremendously, and I would have lingered in the bar enjoying that music!

This historic hotel, situated right on the lake, is just beautiful! The staff are attentive and welcoming. The facilities in the hotel are very good (the only thing was that there was no iron to use (or facilities for ironing clothes). I used and spent a lengthy time in their gym, which was really good. There are various options for dining outside of the hotel (some really good restaurants). There is a pharmacy, a few clothes and souvenir shops but that’s it (no other local shops/ mini supermarket). If you don’t have a car then it’s hard to see the area - and there’s a lot to see. Public transport is not that frequent but it is cheap. It’s quite away from the main town so if a quiet getaway from everything is what you want then this is ideal. I would return to the hotel for another amazing stay.

Lovely property in a beautiful setting. Super close to the ferry/bus links. Lots of lovely places to eat so close by. The hotel itself has lots of lovely areas to relax, like out by the pool and the deck by the lake. Lovely balcony overlooking the lake!

Beautiful hotel and our superior room with lake view was stunning. However, the hotel lacked in dining options and was expecting spa facilities and there were none. There was no atmosphere in the piano bar and not welcoming so we ate out every night.

It's a lovely old hotel. The staff is excellent and the location is really nice. My room was clean and comfortable and seemed recently updated. The property itself needs renovation and updating, but it's beautiful.

It was a last minute decision Location is absolutely beautiful, wonderful breakfast with beautiful view Parking available across the street . Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on beachfront. It is purchased by Hilton and will be closed for two years to be renovated to be a 5 start resort and spa .

This is a wonderful hotel with a beautiful view of the lake. There are several great restaurants in the quaint town next to the hotel. Plenty of space to lounge by the pool and lake. A nice place for people of all ages.

Lovely hotel
Lovely setting for a “grand dame” hotel. Rooms comfortable, great views from lakefront rooms, nice pool and pool bar, lovely breakfast buffet. Close to everything, next to the ferry, lots of restaurants close by. The pool bar staff are very personable, attentive, and eager to please, as are the front desk staff.

Nice older property right on the lake with awesome views. Comfortable bedding wedding and generally nice room. Did not eat at main restaurant mainly due to the experience a breakfast. Breakfast is generally poor quality but selection was fine but For the quality. Grounds were very nice. Easy to get to and great customer service.
