“management office is difficult to find for tourists who rent cars”

“A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. ”

“ I came to Penang to register my daughter into USM. It’s a great choice. It’s near to USM around 15mins. Car can park inside hotel with gates for FREE. speedmart 100meter, waking distance for local food. Becareful they lock the gate at 12midnight for security .”

“The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...

“Byggnaden som hotellet låg i var sliten och uppgången kuslig men det låg många restauranger och butiker i huset. Lobbyn var också lite sliten men wow, rummet var fantastiskt fint och väldigt designat. Passade definitivt inte ihop med resten av huset. Frukosten serverades på loftgången utanför där man ställde fram en spisplatta och brassade ägg vilket var väldigt charmigt. Passade heller inte ihop med rummet. Detta var en väldigt kontrastrik upplevelse. Hotellet låg mycket bra til med gångavstånd...

“The place itself is a beautiful old building with window shutters, old dark wood details and in some rooms I think also wooden walls. The courtyard is super quaint and I spent many torrential downpours there, under cover, enjoying the tropical weather. There is no breakfast available, but there are places close by. The area itself is not special as such, BUT it is still walking distance to most things and the free CAT bus towards Armenian Street and Central 'touristy' Georgetown leaves from just...

“A beautiful old Chinese mansion, very personal and delicately decorated located in Georgetown’s Little India. We felt at home directly as the whole mansion is at your service to use and just to sit in the patio was lovely. We found our room simple but clean and ok. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The only small minus is that breakfast is not included and has to be ordered and paid for. In all: a lovely place. ”

“Check-in and check-out was seamlessly fast and efficient. Room is clean. Overall property is clean and very good service staff in the entire property in particular Dhur and Joe. They are so helpful and extend the extra miles to even check for us luggage storage at the airport and at Queensbay Mall”
