I expected guests
We arrived in town for our VEBO rental and I checked to see what we had to do yo get in. But there was no information for us on our email from VRBO that had a check-in button. We knew the chief of police in this small town and he informed us that the owners live next door to the rental so he went with us to see what was what. The couple was home but she explained that she wasn’t expecting us. She said that she needed to change the sheets before we came in so it might be about another hour and a half. By that time we had waited 21/2 hours pst check in.
She was very nice and very apologetic but since you pay upfront I was curious why she was not aware of our arrival.
The house itself needs some serious attention and not worth the price. It was a much older home which is what I prefer but it had broken blinds and no porch light and a screen door that had much too much daylight showing at the bottom, along with many other issues. Basically it was clean but quite raggedy.
They need to up their game!
