“Schöne Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Gegend. Die Umgebung ist was besonders. Wild West Charme. Wir hatten eine sehr klare Nacht zum Sternebeobachten, wir haben mindestens 50 Sternschnuppen gezählt.”

“Well located in the center of the village, spacious apartment, nice and clean, equipped with everything one could think of. Jude is a great host, helpful and happy to give a lot of advices. Negative, our daughter was not too happy with the mattress in the second room - but this might be her feeling only.”

“The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if...

“Perfect accommodation”

“Very cool location and quite relaxing. Needs some improvement on the interior and exterior of the cottage though as a lot of things were worn. It was quite windy while we were there and the wind blew most of the smoke coming the fireplace back inside which made everything smell like smoke, including our clothes in our suitcases. It did improve the feeling of being in a remote location, but still, this is probably not what you want. Overall quite good and value for money.”

“Wir waren im November da. Wir hatten das 4 Bettappartment. Unser 1. Eindruck : Ghosthouse. Die Anreise war schon spuky, obwohl wir uns per E-Mail extra vorher angekündigt hatten und nachfragten wie wir nach 17 Uhr aus das Gelände kommen, keine Antwort. Aus den Bewertungen wussten wir dass wir für das Tor einen Code benötigen. Tja irgendwie haben wir einen Weg rein gefunden und dann auch den Weg in unsere FW. Es ist alles sehr alt, muffig und die Küche allein ist 100 Jahre alt, aus den 20gern....

“The property is far from town situated on a dirt road (15 km) and fairly dangerous to drive at night. We decided not to stay there and used alternative accommodation in town. This was not known to me when I made the booking, the road condition must be detailed on the website... ”
