A wonderfully relaxing spot to spend a holiday! We stayed at the end of the season, and it was relaxed and quiet, exactly what we wanted. The beach is mere steps away and it wasn't crowded, there's a pool and sunny terrace for lounging, and a shaded bar/restaurant to chill in. Staff were all wonderful and attentive, food was brilliant and we'd definitely come back! I think next time we might hire a car, as there's probably plenty nearby to explore that was slightly too far away (and hilly) to walk to. But if you're happy to just read and chill there's no need to. Wonderful, thank you so much!

Struttura fantastica con personale qualificato e gentile ed una eccezionale cucina pulitissimo. Struttura che si affaccia sul mare con una piccola baia adiacente una spiaggia con poche persone e un acqua limpida. lo consiglio vivamente ho passato una settimana fantastica di vero relax. Ci tornerò sicuramente grazie di tutto.

Great family run business, the rooms were lovely and the beds super comfortable. The pool area was great, lots of sun beds and the local beach was beautiful. Great to be able to borrow a umbrella from the hotel. Taxi to airport €30. At at the restaurant a couple for times and the food was delicious, breakfast was basic but sufficient. Would definitely recommend

Eine wunderschöne Anlage und ein familiär geführtes Hotel in dem wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben! Haben wir noch nie so erlebt! Das Essen war lecker, die Zimmer sehr sauber und der Pool sehr gepflegt. Und wenn man lieber an den Strand wollte war dieser ca. 50m vom Hotel und mit Sand und klarem schönen Wasser.

All the staff, particularly Nana, are wonderfully friendly and helpful it is such a pleasure to stay here. The restaurant is very good and well priced. You definitely need a car as it is a long, steep walk to a shop!

Peaceful area to stay next to a small beach.
Very quiet little hotel, rooms basic but beds very comfortable. Only 2 things I would have liked were a plug for the sink and a kettle / cups for tea or coffee in the morning. The staff are lovely and the food is good. I swept up my hair from the floor after brushing my hair & noticed the floor had made my hand dirty so not sure how often the floors are mopped. Clean towels every day was great! We hired a car through the owner of the hotel for 3 days & saw a lot of this pretty island but a 45 minute uphill walk in hot temperatures to the village of Spartia is too far for a lot of people so you are rather captive without a car. In all a very relaxing time but September is known for wasps so be wary as they are a nuisance. The beach is not the best but a lot of people use it to swim so entirely a matter of opinion. There are some lovely beaches around with top quality water but you need transport - taxis available but fairly expensive to use regularly. A shuttle service to take people up to the village and back would be a great idea.

Nice quiet and comfortable location
We went as two couples and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. we used this as a base to visit the island and were always pleased to return. Facilities are more than adequate and the food was good. We found it relaxing and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.

Molto bella la possibilità di fare colazione/pranzare con vista sul mare. Anche la nostra camera aveva vista mare. La camera aveva un bagno con un unico neo: cattivo scolo acqua; per il resto, niente da dire sul livello di pulizia: molto buono. Da sottolineare che l'hotel non è vicino alla capitale, raggiungibile comunque in 15 minuti.

Quiet hotel away from busier resorts.
We chose Panas because it offered a quieter, more relaxing holiday than any of the bigger resorts. We were lucky to have a room with a lovely view of the sea and the sunrise every morning. The owners and staff were very friendly and the provision of a fridge in the room allowed us to store cold drinks, a boon in the very warm weather. The food was generally good, especially the fresh fish. Unfortunately, there is little variety in the species available compared with some years ago due to overfishing. Farmed bass and bream are now the staple fish. Surprisingly, the only other restaurant nearby overlooked its fish despite claiming to be a fish restaurant. You should be aware that the nearest village, Spartia, is a prohibitively long and steep walk away. You really do need a car if you don't want to be confined to the hotel and beach. Spartia does have a very nice, family run taverna which made a welcome alternative to our hotel. Because of its remoteness and the island's small and winding roads, getting to other parts of Kefalonia is a challenge but worth it. Mirtos beach and Assos in the north west are truly beautiful. Beware of you use Google Maps to navigate that it can direct you on to some tiny roads and seems unable to differentiate between a metalled road and a dirt track! Overall, this hotel and location suited our need for a quiet and relaxing resort on a beautiful island.

Poche parole per definirlo: ottima qualità, ottimo prezzo, a partire dalla colazione, fino alla pulizia della camere e tutto il resto. L'unico appunto è che bisogna avere la macchina, altrimenti non si gode appieno delle opportunità dell'isola.

Hotel per chi cerca tranquillità
Il posto è il prototipo della tranquillità anche se un vicino beach bar richiama un certo numero di visitatori a tutte le ore. L'albergo è essenziale, il ristorante è decoroso e le camere piccole ma molto pulite e con un personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile: bravi!

Siamo stati due settimane in quest'Hotel. Ottima location vicino al mare, a meno di venti minuti da Argostoli ed in mezzo al verde. Godibilissima la piscina e buono il ristorante dell'Hotel. Si visitano facilmente, entro un'ora di macchina, tutte le spiagge nel raggio di 50 km (Mirtos, Skaka, Xi,...). Per Fiskardo 1,45 h. Attorno ottimi ristoranti per la cena. Buono il rapporto qualita'/prezzo.

Wonderfully Relaxing
Lovely traditional hotel in a beautiful secluded location. Run by Nana Panas and her family who could not be more welcoming and helpful. 30 metres from a sandy beach with crystal clear shallow water perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Great freshly cooked food at good prices. A car is ideal due to the location but Taxis are readily available from reception. Thoroughly recommended as a welcome alternative to typical resort hotels.

Far from the madding crowd.
Lovely little family run hotel yards away from sea and little beach. Our room was fine all stone quite cave like,clean,basic did have a fridge which was very handy.Definitely need transport as quite a way from tourist areas.hired a car thanks to Nana! Drove all over the island and highly recommend getting the ferry to Zante from the tiny port round the corner from hotel. If you dont mind being away from it all its perfect and the family were so lovely and would do all they could to help. Local fishermen go off on their boats from the beach and gather at the little shelter near the car park. We had a great time so if your not too bothered about luxury its a perfect Base.

la location del piccolo albergo è eccellente, a due passi dal mare, immerso nella quiete, personale disponibilissimo e gentile, inolte a 200 mt dal piccolo albergo, un ottima taverna greca. considerato la spesa per questa vacanza, devo dire che è andata oltre le mie aspettative.......... Barbara

Grazioso hotel gestione familiare fronte mare
Due settimane passate al Panas Hotel. Hotel grazioso con camere semplici e ottima pulizia sia nelle camere che nelle aree comuni. Gestione famigliare: massima disponibilità da parte di Nana(che parla anche italiano) e di tutta la famiglia sempre pronti per consigli e collaborativi per ogni esigenza. Colazione sulla terrazza dell'hotel con vista sul mare, dove è possibile anche pranzare e cenare a buoni prezzi. Bella la spiaggia a pochi passi di distanza e a disposizione dei clienti la piscina. E' necessario un mezzo privato per gli spostamenti.

Hotel dal volto umano
Un hotel molto pulito e grazioso, ma la cosa più importante è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità dimostrata dai gestori che si son fatti carico di qualsiasi cosa avessimo bisogno fino a offrire la colazioneanche quando avevamo superato l' ora. Il posto è tranquillissimo, lontano dal rumore. Anche se non l' abbiamo mai sfruttata ha una caletta a circa 30 mt bellissima. L'unica nota negativa ma più che superabile è che per arrivare lì bisogna affrontare una strada da paura soprattutto la notte, fatta di discese mozzafiato e illuminazione quasi inesistente, ma nonostante questo si trovas in una posizione che ti permette di prender tute le direzioni per i luoghi bellissimi che caratterizzano quest' isola. Lato negativo dell' isola sono le indicazioni. In alcuni casi le vedi in un senso solo a volte non ci sono a volte sono nascoste e soprattutto spesso solo nella dicitura in cirillico. Non proprio a misura di turista.

Το ξενοδοχειο ειναι μια οικογενειακη επιχειρηση με πολυ ευγενικους ανθρωπους, αριστη εξυπηρετηση,πολυ πρασινο και 50 μετρα απο την θαλασσα.Προσφερει επισης καταπληκτικο φαγητο μαγειρεμενο απο την γιαγια (στην κυριολεξια ),και ανταγωνιστικοτατες τιμες. Τι αλλο να ζητησει κανεις ;

Un angolo di paradiso
Una bella struttura, ben tenuta e ben gestita da personale cordiale e capace. Posizione molto particolare in fondo ad una lunga ed impegnativa stradina; affaccia insieme ad una sola altra struttura su un piccolo golfo non atrezzato con soffice fondale sabbioso digradante dolcemente e contornato da scogli ben popolati di pesci. Acqua dalle sfumature memorabili. Ristorazione varia e di qualità, bella piscina con splendida vista sul mare (così da molte camere). Fantastica opzione per chi vuole mare splendido e vero relax. Macchina assolutamente necessaria.

Nice hotel, close to beach
We stayed one week at Panas, its a lovely place & we would definitely go back, right above a nice beach, not far from airport, (25 euro) but quite remote, you can walk up steep hill to another beach & village of Spartia & you can park hire car at hotel & get around the island Rooms are nice, basic but clean & with balcony over looking the sea, people are lovely, Michaelis is wonderful, everyone friendly & very helpful, food is very good & there is another taverna right opposite

A lovely spot with all thats needed
Early June this was exactly what we wanted - a quiet spot with very basic but clean comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Just above the beach, with hardly anyone there, it was unspoilt and a beautiful spot for bathing. Very difficult to find by car -but you do need a car to get about & see the island. The restaurant was perfectly fine for all meals - though some fresh fruit at breakfast would be nice & more local produce. Plenty of options for evening meals within 10 - 15 minutes drive. The place is well run, problems sorted quickly, and staff very helpful. Might become noisy if hotel full - hard stone floors, noisy plumbing etc - but idyllic for us when so quiet early in the season

Quite hotel on the sea
We went for a relaxing one week holiday which indeed was successful. The hotel/bungalows is run by a very nice and friendly family with a great restaurant. Like every where in Greece the bathroom is much too small, there is onle like 30 sq cm sace for shower!!! The hotel s located at the southern part of island not far from airport but we never heard any noise. You need a car to get around. There s a little beach in front of hotel which is not much inviting. There is no public bus and no shops around. If you just want to stay at one place and relax by pool, it is ideal. The small balconies look over the sea sidewise. Only on the big terrace and resturant you can reach internot not in rooms! Room 23 was nice! The continental breakfast was every day the same and nothing Greek! Boaring! I suggested to have sone feta cheese, tomaties and fruit , but no reaction! Every corner of the island is different and has its own qality and beauty. It was a great holiday.

Excellent staff, Nice soft mattresses. Good food in taverna for lunch and dinner, though menu not extensive. Both fish and mousakka were excellent!
