Asked Duty Manager Sakshi to send me a large SUV for airport pickup. Clarified that we were 4 passengers (2 adults and 2 small kids) and 7 pieces of luggage. reminded them 3 times ahead of arrival, they sent a CNG sedan with no trunk space. So I had to run around to rent a second car at airport after 20hrs of flight.
I had booked 2 rooms and asked for them to be adjoining. The booking was done 3 months in advance. Called hotel to confirm they can provide adjoining rooms, had them put it in their notes. it took them 2 days after I checked in for them to give me adjoining rooms. Duty manager Manish promised every day but never came through.
Finally, I was holding an event at the hotel during same stay and had booked 9 additional rooms. All rooms were requested to be on same floor and requested 2 sets of adjoining rooms. That did not happen either and the front desk staff could care less. The room service line is a waste as no ever picks up. You almost need to call the reception and have them chase after room service to call you back.
Pretty terrible service for Holiday Inn brand.
On the positive side, the event manager Manosija was excellent in getting everything organised and we had a great time. The buffet breakfast and the restaurant was also very very good.
