The primary location of the hotel does make the premises very unique indeed. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the fabulous views. On the other hand we must admit that these kind of concerns are always unsavory to deal with. We would like to attempt to address each issues as you've outlined in your comments. We would like to highlight that these were all discussed with your partner, our team and Director of security at Diplomat Lounge immediately after receiving your comments on the 20th of December. The hotel has been transparent and collaborated to ensure to look into the matter as it should be. Allow us to clarify that the hotel was only notified about the loss upon check out around 24 hours after your initial check in. After the notification, we, as you stated, immediately compiled all the evidences we could do until that point. These were used to go through so that you can see what we had in hand. These included various records like CCTV, electronic card log readers and speaking to and with witnesses. Being a resort in a bustling city like Hanoi, allow us to mention that the distance between our main reception and your allocated over water room in Pavillion 2 is around 350m. The CCTVs are not covering the entire way to confirm any of your statements. As you mentioned in the comments, we have ensured to involve all requested parties to investigate the concerns accordingly. Allow us to point out that every room in the hotel does provide a safety box for any valuables which was not used during your stay. These are provided for the additional security of each single guest. We have together reported the case to the local authorities, which we supported to ensure a professional follow up. It is correctly stated that we have not offered any compensation. After our last conversation at the police station, we have offered an additional meeting with our hotel manager which you gently declined.
