We had an amazing time and wished we could stay longer, my kids didn't want to leave. I 100% recommend and we will be booking again.”

“This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. The gas stove was plenty warm for us, but there are other heaters in the bedroom and bathroom if you need it super toasty. I had booked this place on accident thinking I had chosen a different property (silly mistake) and it ended up being quite the happy accident! It’s right along a river, and super quiet. “This Caribou Island cabin was perfect for an end of summer getaway for my kids (13 and 11) and me. The highlight for us was the location--nestled in the trees right on the lake, but completely private. I can't say enough about how beautiful the property is. The bedrock protrudes through a thin cover of soil and is covered with a variety of lichen and moss that is absolutely gorgeous. “Was supposed to be with family but some things changed. I stayed here to get out to the sugarloaf marathon race early in the morning . It was only 30 minutes to get up to the finish line. Great cabin with lots of space. Hopefully next time I can share it with the family. Highly recommended. ”

We finally found the chain link fence but could not locate the mailbox for the keys. I thought a mailbox would be beside the road. We called the property manager a second time and she did not answer. I finally found the mailbox on the fence behind a branch. We arrived after dark and quickly found out that the end of the right railing...

“We stayed at Ron's place for a 4 day weekend of ATVing in the area. His cabin was immaculate. The location was super quiet. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The view of the pond was stunning and spending some time on the dock after our rides quite relaxing. We will definitely be back again and would recommend his spot to anyone.”
