This hotel is a motel on the bottom level with inside hall and outside doors. We did experience some late night voices going by our room but not for any great length of time. There was a hot breakfast, not special, but adequate. They had personnel issues on our 2nd morning, so breakfast was not ready when we went. Not the manager's fault, but she didn't really know how to run the kitchen. Our room had a 2 person jacuzzi bathtub which I didn't expect, but it was nice.

When we arrived at the hotel it was over an hour after check in time arrived. We were told our room was ready, however when we went in it was clearly not. The beds were all torn down, there was something in the sink that could have been blood, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, floors not vacuumed. Basically they just turn the beds down and left it. I understand mistakes happen, I really was not mad. However, the next day they started closing the breakfast a half hour before it was supposed to end. The coffee machine stopped working and the ladies at the front desk were not very sympathetic. I will say the man at the front desk when we arrived was very nice and handled everything well. Overall, the hotel was very nice and the pool and patio areas were wonderful, but the service was lacking overall.

Very nice room, king suite with fireplace and whirlpool. Awesome, huge room! Very clean, was a little difficult to cool down because its so big of a room but I still love the room. Staf extremely nice and helpful. Will stay here again, hopefully soon.

Booked for Tulip Time, so paid a premium price for sub-par stay. We did get to check in a couple hours early and the man at check-in was very nice and helpful. Went to breakfast around 8:45 and all that was there was some stale bagels. Room smelled so bad we bought air fresheners which helped a little. We stayed 2 nights, they brought fresh towels, but thats it, did nothing to the room. Our room happened to be ADA compatible, with a shower that had nothing to keep water contained. Had to put towels on the floor, which were soaked after using shower. Old, run down facility. Would not stay again. Should have stayed a little further away from Holland since we had to drive everywhere anyway.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We will be doing room renovations this off season and are looking forward to the changes. Did you inform front desk of any rooms issues? They would have been happy to try to assist you to correct the situation. Our breakfast does run until 9am and I'm sure the breakfast attendant would have been happy to help with additional items that may have still been available, unfortunately with the amount guests during tulip time breakfast stock was depleting faster than we could restock to ensure freshness.

This is probably the worst managed hotel I've stayed in during my lifetime. Numerous things were broken: 1 one treadmill in the exercise room, the drink vending machine, the coffee/cappuccino maker in the lobby, the waffle maker for the breakfast. Before the coffee machine was deemed broken, the staff had to scrounge up cups because they ran out. The only ones they could find were 9 oz cups for a machine that makes 12 oz cups. The provided breakfast was pitiful. There was no juice. There was no butter for the toast. They were just out. And no waffles since the waffle machine was broken. We were fortunate that the eggs and sausage were stocked when we arrived. I was shocked that the eggs had a slice of cheese inside with no indication on the warming dish. This could be a horrible surprise for someone with a cheese allergy. The hotel room was surface cleaned but there were cracks in the sink and mildew between the tiles in the bathroom. The carpet in front on the beds was sticky. It's an older hotel. For the price paid, it was definitely not worth it. There were 2 positives...one was the employees. The front desk staff was phenomenal. They were friendly and they attempted to deal with some of the issues as best they could...with a friendly demeanor. The second positive was the pool/hot tub area. It was super clean and well maintained. We appreciated that the staff had neatly laid towels on the back of the chairs. It almost made the pool area feel like an upscale spa.

The hotel itself was clean and in a nice location. When we went to checkin, there was no one at the desk, it took a lady to yell for someone to come check us in. There was only one bar of soap in the room none in the bathroom for showering The next morning our coffee maker in our room did not work nor did the one in the breakfast area. There was hardly any food for the supposed free breakfast, there was no meat available and no eggs, and no interest in refilling anything. Just not a very well run place. There were many people unhappy about the breakfast. I will definitely not recommend the hotel to anyone after our experience!

Helpful lady at front desk gave us good recommendations for restaurants and sights Same lady had To manage front desk, patron complaints and keep free breakfast items available. She had to fix coffee machine and waffle maker was broken.Our room toilet stopped up and not able to fix until after check out.

Great location for traveling to Holland and the surroundings area. Not far from downtown and an easy commute there. Every big name and chain store, restaurant, fast food, you name it is within a mile or two. It’s nice being a service road to the side of US-31 making traveling too and from anywhere easy. Hotel was nice on the inside, everything felt updated within the last 10 years except the actual rooms but they were still great. Bigger tv than most hotels and was centered with the bed. All rooms on the first floor do have doors to the outside however, so if that’s something you don’t want try requesting a second or third floor room. It did make it easy for unloading and loading the car but we tried not to use it otherwise to keep the deadbolt locked. The rooms in the back are nice because it’s just trees back there so it feels more secluded with having a door directly to the outside. Our outside door wasn’t fully insulated and some light was leaking through which was unfortunate. Also, probably just the nature of having a door directly to the outside but there was some dirt and grass and such slightly built up around the door on the inside. Breakfast was good with some decent options, coffee machine was the best one I’ve seen at a hotel. It’s understandable showing up within 30 minutes of it closing to not have as many options on the hot/cooked options but things like yogurt and milk for cereal should always be stocked for when those things run out. Overall a great stay!

This wasn’t a “fancy” place by any means, but was honestly great for the price. It seems to have been upgraded on the inside recently, but you can tell it’s an older building. The outside looked a little unattended. But honestly, our beds were comfy and sheets were nice. Bathroom had ample towels and shower was clean. The breakfast was limited; I was excited about the waffle maker, but there wasn’t any batter. There was no juice. But, I had a couple of eggs and a couple of sausage links, and that was enough to start the day. The staff was all super nice. I’d totally stay here again for the value. This was about half as much as anything else I was looking at, and though there weren’t many “frills,” it was more than sufficient for a one-night stay in town.

Smelled like pot going to our room off the elevator. My wife has a hard time walking and u cant use your card with any of the side doors for convenience. U have to walk clear to lobby and then back down to elevators. Shower drain was very slow. When i tried to make reservations on phone they tried to charge me more than the advertised online price telling me that it may be more but at least the price was secure where the online price i paid wasnt secure. Breakfast was okay. Nothing great. Need some juice and fruit and silverware u can actually eat with.

The hotel was very affordable. The room was clean and had plenty of space for my family. The employees were extremely friendly! The downsides were that the pool was out of order and breakfast wasn’t great. The hotel was generally clean, but not modern.

The price was good - but the room was over deodorized I am a migraine sufferer and it was very hard for me to be in the room the smell was SO STRONG! there was a little bit of mold around the soap dish in the shower and it was hard for me to get in and out of the tub for a shower as the bottom was super slippery and sloped in the middle. I overcame all that but when I used the ice machine on the first floor that is where I lost it. The amount of MOLD on that machine was overwhelmingly gross. I clean homes for a living and that is just not acceptable at all because there is NO way that could be overlooked if it was being checked. The pool was not heated either - we were looking forward to swimming - this was a night away from our home and kids and animals and we got to use the hot tub but not the pool. Also as we got out of the hottub some people came in with babies and put them in the hot tub with NO DIAPERS needless to say we didn't get back in after using it once. So sad

Property appears to be former Best Western Hotel. Staff were friendly, I liked the 24-coffee, hot chocolate, filtered water. I did not like that breakfast only went until 9:00 am. So keep that in mind. But met our needs and we would stay again.

While the location was great and close to shops and restaurants, there were a few unusual details in our room. We had the large room with the fireplace and whirlpool. It was odd to have the jacuzzi in an open space, a tiny bathroom and shower/tub and we could feel vibrations from the laundry below that made the floor shake. Our room key never worked (even after we had the front desk check it multiple times) and they had run out of sausage and hash downs by 8:15 am. When asked, we were told "a group of college boys" has cleaned them out by 7:30. If they were aware of having full capacity they also should have adjusted the breakfast amounts!
