Lovely place to stay while in Homer
Enjoyed our stay and the very comfortable and cozy apartment. Great location within a few blocks of Bishops Beach as well as town. Will stay here again next time I visit!

February Homer Stay
I have stayed at the Ocean View Suite several times on my own and with family and it is my favorite place to stay in Homer. Andy and Sally are the best hosts and the place has the best view, is really nicely furnished and comfortable and has a wonderful location, being close to Bishop's Beach and downtown Homer. I highly recommend a stay!

Perfect!
This was the perfect place to stay! My uncle, dad and I were in Homer for a fishing charter, and this little place at the Old Inlet Bookshop was the perfect spot! We loved the views, walked to every meal, Bishop’s Beach, and all slept comfortably. I hope it’s available the next time I visit Homer because I want to stay here again.

Charming and convenient
This is a beautiful place located above a unique and charming book store. Within walking distance to several great restaurants. The owners are friendly and left some awesome welcome treats. Would definitely stay here again. Homer is beautiful.

Could Not Have Picked a Better Place
A five minute walk to the beach, this place was ideal. It was set above and behind The Old Inlet Bookshop. The apartment was perfect for my sister and I for two nights. Fresh flowers, coffee cake, and fruit, along with plenty of tea, coffee, and condiments awaited us. It was peaceful and comfortable. Communication with the host went off without a hitch, and check in and out were super easy. I would highly recommend this place if you stay in Homer.

Wonderful stay in the hear of Homer

Loved our VRBO in Homer
The VRBO was so quaint and cute. Great location right near downtown. We had beautiful views of the water and mountains when sitting out on the deck. I wish we could’ve stayed much longer there. Thank you!!

Homer Stay
I really enjoyed this place as it was quiet and very comfortable. Plus, there is a used bookstore attached to it. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to browse, but it looked like an interesting store.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Quaint & Fabulous
Charming apartment located within walking distance to bakeries, restaurants, and the beach! So convenient and the views are to die for! Andy and Sally were lovely hosts, making sure I had everything I needed...Fresh flowers, fruit, and coffee cake greeted me upon arrival. Very welcoming, neat as a pin, and very homey. Wonderful Place
We loved our stay in the Oceanview Suite! The apartment is comfortable and nice with a view of the mountains and a bit of the ocean. The kitchen had what we needed for our three day stay and we appreciated the fruit basket and other items for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the living room was a nice spot to relax in. The location to all activities and sites around Homer is outstanding and within walking distance of much of it. There are many restaurants nearby (we loved Two Sisters Bakery!) and you are just a couple blocks from the beach and are on the Spit within a few minutes drive as well. Andy was very communicative via text and we talked to him in the bookstore downstairs as well. All in all, a fantastic place to stay and we will look for it again on our next visit to the area.

We love this place!
Charming, conveniently located, nice view of the mountains and the bay, lots of hot water, bookstore next door, excellent hosts. A snuggly nest for a delightful respite from the craziness.

This is the most charming 1 bedroom apartment with a great view of the mountains from a breakfast nook. Quiet close to the water neighborhood. If you are a reader - just head to the bookstore downstairs and you could browse for hours, One of the nicest/quaintest places we have rented!

Nice place to stay, however they need to get a more comfortable couch for the living room,
Need more comfortable sitting in the living room area. Rug needs to be replaced or fixed! I tripped on it several times. The bedroom was perfect! Kitchen was just what we needed. Just really need some updates for the living room area!!

Relaxing in Homer
We had a grand time here. The two of us enjoyed a central location, clean unit, comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful view from the bay window/dining area. We had 6 addition guests for one breakfast and one dinner—had no oroblem seating 6 at the dining room table and two at the short kitchen island bar. Highly recommend this property!

Sweet Little Suite
What a wonderful apartment! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Apartment; it is a beautiful little apartment roosting above an amazing bookstore, a stones throw from the beach. The owners are so responsive and attentive, and every little detail was just perfect. This will be our new destination in Homer when we are a small group. Thank you Andy and Sally!

Perfect get away
My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our trip to Homer. Listing matches the place perfectly. It is well decorated, close to shopping and restaurants. Andrew was easy to work with and reached out to let us know we could check in earlier than expected. Such a charming place! I would totally stay here again if I ever make it back to Homer.

Place was well appointed and had a great view from deck and kitchen table. Bed was comfortable and all was very clean. Living room furniture and rug were aged but we really didn't use the living room so it wasn't an issue. Host was very friendly and accomodating.

Best spot in town

Relaxing beach side stay
This property is nestled in ab amazing spot in Homer, literally just a hop skip and jump away from Bishops Beach which is a quiet and beautiful location to soak in the Homer coastal views. It has great food nearby, such as Fat Olives for pizza. The apartment itself is cozy and clean with everything you would need. Would definitely stay again!

Favorite stay of our Alaskan adventure!
As our trip comes to end, we wish we had one more night in Homer! The location of this rental was perfect. We had the best dinner at AJ’s and breakfast at Wild Honey. Especially loved how close we were to Bishop beach - loved this place!

Nice place in Old Town Homer
We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, much of Old Town Homer was closed temporarily during the time of our visit.. We will have to return when the town is reopening and use Andrew's apartment again for its convenient location!
