“Att bo i ett gammalt genuint engelskt hotell som detta är att vara med i en film. Takbjälkar, lågt i tak, heltäckningsmattor, englasfönster kombinerat med en uppfräschning från senare år och en serviceinriktad personal var härligt. ”

“Stayed here before and was looking forward to eating in the restaurant, unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a private function, if I’d known before booking, I’d have chosen a different location. The function also meant there was a lot of noise into the evening ”

“This house is very convenient to the airport. The check in by code and room lock by code works well. But you get what you pay for, my room had a bed and old deck nothing more. But having access to a kitchen is nice and there is a store on the same block. When I was there washer/dryer and dishwasher were both out of order. Easy to get to by cab or Uber. If you just need a place to sleep for the night it’s fine. I would not recommend for long term stay. ”

“This is a lovely inn/pub in a pretty village. It was very clean and well-kept. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The pub has wonderful food. We tried a South African platter, and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend a stay here. ”

“Countryside-styled place with ancient, charming environment and friendly atmosphere in all respects. Wonderful breakfast and dinner plus helpful staff made the stay even better. And the room rate was reasonable as well.”

“Pay attention to the check in/deposit process. After check in an email should be sent and a request for a deposit. After the deposit, instructions on your room and how to get in will be sent. Other than that the come and leave as you go is nice and convenient.”

“I saw lots of complaints on reviews but gave it a chance as it was very cheap. Basically - you get what you pay for, and a bit more. For £45 - £20 deposit I got a reasonable room with coffee making facilities and very good service. I would stay again as it was so cheap and really friendly staff. Many thanks”

“Since the combination to the main door and the rum stopped working at midnight and our flight was delayed. We could not get there in time. We therefore had to book another hotel to have somewhere to stay for the night. We do not know about how the room was since we never got a chance to see the room.”

“Hotel has good location. Room (Victoria, on first floor) was large and clean. Easy access into room using keypad. Owner was helpful with issue booking through hotels.com. Allowed us an early check in, which was appreciated. We did have an issue where we were woken up around midnight with the lights flickering on and off, a smell of electrical wires burning and a sound of electric arcing. This went on until about 2 am and then stopped. We were worried the rest of the night there may be a fire,...
