“Really nice hotel. Great room with fantastic view. The breakfast was really good and the staff sometimes served an extra treat. We arrived prior to check in time, with the intent to store our luggage. Since the breakfast was still open they invited us to have something to eat, free of charge.”

“Would 100 % recommend this cozy small hotel! Best hotel on the hole trip. Lovely staff in the calm town Uzelina. The rooms were clean and beautiful and it was easy to take a taxi to Velas. You have access to a kitchen where you can make tea, coffees and eat homemade cookies. Beautiful view from the hotel room over Pico. ”

“We had an amazing honeymoon here thanks to the staff, and others staying at the property at the same time. There are not a lot of walkable things around so the hotel has a few food items for purchase. This let us have dinner while we were stuck inside during a storm! We loved it here and will be back!”

“This was our best stay during our 2 weeks across the Azores. The rooms are clean and modern. What’s not listed is that there is a wonderful breakfast available with eggs and tomatoes from the property, along with homemade breads and jams in the shared kitchen. You can also use to prepare your own meals. Tania the property manager was attentive and helpful with planning our day, and even did a load of laundry for us. This property is not to be missed on your trip to the Azores.”

“Wir waren für unsere Flitterwochen zwei Nächte hier. Es war das absolute Paradies. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön und super romantisch. Glamping ist hier untertrieben die Ausstattung ist absolut 4* . Das separate Bad und die Terrasse bringen deutlichen Komfort nach langen Wanderungen. Die Gastgeber sind der Wahnsinn an Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit. Uns wurde sehr viel über die Insel und den Garten erklärt. Einzigartige Vielfalt an Pflanzen und Gerüchen. “The place is really lovely and very clean. There is a great view of Pico, and we loved looking out at the lights of Pico from the porch at night. Rita was very responsive to any issues we had. The wifi was really weak, even after Rita provided a new router. Visitors should download tv shows or movies in advance if they want to watch anything during their stay. We loved coming home to this house at the end of the day!!!”
