Starting at the front desk, the lady who checked us in could not speak because she was sick, but wasnt wearing a face mask. When we asked for a reservación under our name she pointed to a piece of paper for US to follow instructions, yet still we had to call out our name again, for her to pull out the reservation. Also, one of the reasons we picked this hotel was because it is marked that the pool opens untill 11pm, we got there at 21:45, and they sign that they showed US said that the pool closes at 10pm and we were not allowed to Even check it out since the attendant right after checking US in went to close down the facilites personally, leaving the front desk.
Our room had NO amenieties, no soap, no shampoo nor conditioner from the dispenser, and there was nothing to clean ourselves with. I had to go personally to the front desk to get amenieties and still they didnt have Any standard amenieties to provide because none was left for them at the night shift.
We did not get what we paid for, we are not happy with this Booking and Will never book with them again.
I doubt that Sonesta as a brand has these kind of standards for their operations. We Will be voicing our complaints to corporate and expect a full refund for this horrible experience.
