The hotel was beautiful, the lobby was equipped with things you may need or want for your breakfast including jams, marmalades, Nutella ect. Being an apartment, the rooms had a kitchen with dishwasher ect and a full bathroom.
Disappointing however, with backpacking we went for the ‘cheaper’ room, I think roughly £/€4 give or take cheaper, we were put in room 1, by the entrance door which was noisy and disruptive on a night.
Being the room on the end, i opened the curtain to be greeted to the people in the outdoor smoking area next to the entrance. This resulted in the room smelling of cigarette smoke even with the windows shut. This being alongside the patio door which was the walkway to underground storage, (the other rooms had somewhat private patio with a table and chair), meaning I was greeted to two women starting in when opening the curtains in the morning.
We also asked for an early check in (around 30 minutes, after travelling long distances by train) which we were refused, and the receptionist waited until bang on 3pm to check us and an other couple in.
The room itself and the hotel was beautiful, only being a 10/15 minute walk to the centre and a luxury of fresh milk provided by a farm a minutes walk away, however disappointed by the positioning of the room; a little poorly thought out.
