Inte värt vad det kostar
Hotellet är inte värt vad det kostar. Väldigt slitet (rummet var helt OK men med en liten mycket smal balkong) Pool området nerslitet fullt med klor i vattnet troligen fungerade inte reningen. Max 15 solstolar till hela hotellet. Stranden tvärs över gatan var fin men hotellet tog ca 200 Kr/dag för 2 solstolar och ett parasoll. Sista kvällen tänkte vi äta middag i restaurangen men den var stängd Vi var där klockan 18.00. Hotellet låg nära centrum och det var trevligt. Vi bodde i ett standardrum 9 nätter. Mvh Karin

Väldigt låg standard
Fruktansvärt dåligt hotell. Det enda som var bra är läget nära strand och restauranger. Hela anläggningen är i katastrofalt skick. När vi duschade så gick avloppet sönder och det fullkomligt exploderade upp bajskorvar och smutsigt toalettpapper upp ur duschens avlopp. Så otroligt äckligt. Fick efter mycket bekymmer byta rum. Hotellet begär 60 us dollar extra om man är två i dubbelrum och vill ha varsin nyckel trots att bokningen är för två. För att få lås till safetybox måste man betala 50 us dollar i pant. Samma sak för och få strandhandduk kostar 20 usdollar per styck. Bilderna är missvisande. Finns bara en enda liten kall pool med smutsigt vatten. På detta hotell vill man inte tillbringa en enda minut.

Stranden tvärs över gatan
Hotellet ligger jätte bra till, bara gå över gatan så är du på den populära Playa Norte. Man kan köpa solstolar för billigare pris via hotellet om man visar upp en lapp från receptionen. Restauranggatan ligger med bara 2 minuters promenad men förvänta dig att det är dyrare på just den gatan. Ligger på gångavstånd från färjan så man behöver inte ta taxi/transport till hotellet. Over all så hade vi en fantastisk vistelse med många utflykter och fint väder, playa Northe är den stranden som är finast på hela ön så värt att bo så pass nära den. Vi hyrde golfbil en hel dag för 1000 pesos (ca 50 dollar) och tog oss ner till pynta Sur (södra sidan av ön) där utsikten är otrolig så detta rekommenderar jag, men ta inte första bästa golfrental för att kunna hitta ett bättre pris. Jag hade kunnat komma tillbaka hit eftersom location gör hela vistelsen så bekväm och enkel.

Bra läge!
Mycket bra läge!! Nära både stranden, färjeterminalen och gatan med alla mysiga restauranger och butiker. Helt ok rum för det priset! Bra poolområde! Bra med restaurang på hotellet men mycket mer värt att gå till andra restauranger i närheten, bättre mat och service där.

Stayed the last 2 days of vacation. Was disappointing. Room was dingy and smelled very musty. Fridge didn’t work…Shower curtains were moldy. Patio was tiny and in behind the bar. We have always been curious about this place and are glad we were only there for 2 days. Pool is nice enough and new bathrooms by the poolside are new…food was excellent and staff very friendly

This was our second time to stay here and we love everything about it except I felt the shower was in very poor condition. The tule was horrible and even though it appeared clean it was so bad it gave it a dirty feel. An update to the bathrooms is needed. We had the same issue last time and was hoping it wouldn’t happen this time but it did. Otherwise we live this little hotel.

This property is in a great location! It’s close to everything but not loud or noisy. It was right across the street from the beach which was very convenient, the bus drives by every 10-30minutes (we couldn’t figure out the schedule but always close by when we needed) the pool was peaceful, check in and check out was a breeze. The staff were all very friendly. It was a little untidy around the property and obviously an older hotel. The price is great and we would definitely stay again! Thank you hotel posada del mar.

Location is perfect. Hotel is aging, and not much care has been put into maintenance. Rooms will all have mold issues. Most rooms will have some bugs. Cockroaches get into ground floor rooms due to gaps under doors. Pool water isn't kept very clean. But the location is excellent, and the staff really try to make it work. Would stay there again next time I'm in Isla Mujeres.

El hotel muy centrico, solo cruzando la av. Comienza playa publica norte. A los huespedes del hotel "piden un ticket en recepción" y pagan 300 mxn./hasta 5pm. En el beach club. Si no eres huesped pagas 200 mxn./2hrs ó 400 mxn/H. las 5pm. Para ocupar los camastros.. Frente salen los City bus para punta sur que cobran 20 MXN..P/P.. La recepcionista fue amable, me informó de la habitación que habia reservado, AC, 2 Camas con balcon vista a la piscina, no tiene frigobar, sin embargo me dio una habitación disponible al siguiente nivel con minifrige. Tienen restaurante y bar en la piscina del hotel pero los precios son muy caros en comparación con los restaurantes frente al hotel.. Lo que no me gusto fue que no se me dijo de las toallas de la piscina, pero use las toallas de la habitación.. Muy agusto con la familia..

Enjoyed spending time with my daughter over her spring break. Glad I got to introduce her to Romi, he is so nice. We stayed in the rooms to left of office, same as in December and they are more dated then ones by pool area. The beach across street is always cleaned each morning and is just amazing.

The location is great, close to beach and town. Bus stop right out front. Sunset view from our room 201. Drinking water available in the lobby and in other wing, free. We had a standard room. No refrigerator or coffee machine. This should be standard, in my opinion. Our room was spacious. Book exchange in lobby. The pool wasn’t not inviting and we did not use it. The Sun loungers by the pool are old and not plentiful. There was some street and bar noise at night, but just late one night. I used ear plugs. The WiFi was the best near the pool. I would stay here again, probably in the superior room, with a fridge and coffee maker.

This Property has the best location for the price. Although, if you pay for an upgrade, there is no upgrade. We lost out on $58 thinking we got an upgrade. Good location, staff is very friendly, the bar has good drinks. Great hotel for the price.

The staff was really present and answered our request very fast (our toilet broke down, twice). We had a room in the older building, it seemed like it needs a good deep clean, because everything seems old and has stains... We had a few bugs coming in because of the window of the restroom. The location was good, but like everything on the north side of Isla. Would recommend not staying in the older building. Only like 10 chairs at the pool.

Très beau séjour en famille. Chambre confortable et propre, située devant une plage et à deux pas du centre. Piscine très bien, ambiance sympa. Je recommande comme option beau, bon, pas (trop) cher

Pros: Walking distance to great restaurants Across the street from the family/locals beach. A lot of Customers have been coming for years. Cons: Facility has a lot of wear and tear Toilets did not consistently function You are not allowed to flush your toilet paper. No hair dryer provided in our room. Reserved a mini suite, but got a lesser room with no price cut. Manager was not willing to correct pricing on our room down grade and was unwilling to refund last day when we left early. Will not return to this hotel.

Stay in the new building ask for the 3rd floor, it has the best rooms !! Staff is amazing as always!! Can’t beat the price for the location!! We will continue to stay as we travel every February to isla for vacation, we have stayed 25 days at posada Del Mar now !!

Our air conditioning system was faulty, and despite our numerous complaints, no action was taken to fix it. As a result, water from the broken unit flooded our room almost daily. The rooms were not clean, and the pool was not maintained properly.
