Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Drop Anchor's sunrise and sunset are hard to beat! Our king ocean front rooms do have quite a phenomenal view but those but those room types do have a different rate and must be requested at the time of reservation. All of our rooms are equipped wit necessary items in the given the room. I apologize if some was missing items and will have that corrected right away. Thank you for your review , unfortunately there is one road in the Florida Keys and the Island chain is very skinny so you will hear some road noise . As far as our fenced in pool . The fence keeps children from the pool from entering by land ! It does not keep out children who land in boats from the ocean which won't happen to begin with. Once you are in pool area with your child you must watch them.!!!!

Hi Kimberly,I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed with Drop Anchor. 9 out of 10 oceanfront properties in Islamorada have a sea wall of some sort to protect the property from potential hurricane storm surge. Many of our guests swim in the ocean with a float or 'noodle', or they take advantage of our kayaks and paddle boards to get out on the water and/or visit the two sandbars directly from our beach. We hope you will be our guest in the future should you visit Islamorada again.

I'm sorry to hear you did not like the location of your room but, we do have other room types thats right on the water with a nicer view. The room you booked was a resort view room, and they do not come with a view of the water. Furthermore, I'm sorry to hear you had issues with the heat water during your stay but, I had my maintenance team check out the water temperature in that room and they said it was ok.
