This hotel is at a walkable distance to many locations The staff are really helpful and friendly. Only thing is the rooms are small and the bathroom could be more spacious

It’s value for money but don’t expect much. Room was sparse, bare bones, some stains in the toilet. Little sound proofing. But the location is great, right in the heart of beautiful places to visit and breakfast is available. About 1.5-2h from Istanbul Airport by public transport, or 50€ for the hotel’s airport transfer.

The location for a "walking" vacation was excellent! All staff seemed friendly, but Dimetry at the front desk was there to offer suggestions and help with any little questions. All around a great experience here.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at the Albatros Hagia Sophia. Our room with balcony was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, including refrigerator. The buffet breakfast was varied, and the restaurant service was excellent. The hotel’s staff were terrific—friendly, helpful, and always responsive. The location in Sultanahmet could not have been better—only a few minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, the Bosphorous, annd other attractions. There are numerous and varied restaurants, cafes, markets, and shops in the neighborhood. All in all, it was the perfect place to anchor ourselves in incredible Istanbul.

Das Frühstück war ok es hat ausgereicht, waren nur zum schlafen im Hotel war oft unterwegs. Aber die Betten waren zu klein ist nichts für größere Menschen gedacht wenn man sich gedreht hat fällt man vom Bett runter man konnte nicht in Ruhe schlafen. Die Gegend war zu Fuss sehr gut zu errichten, Restaurants in der Nähe waren teuer und vom Geschmack muss man selbst die Erfahrung machen leider.

Sehr gut/empfehlenswert
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral bei Sultan Ahmet. In Kürze können verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten besucht werden, so zB Hagia Sophia, Blaue Moschee, Sultan Ahmet Platz, geschlossener Markt, Suleymanie Moschee, Galata Brücke, Galata Kulesi, Beyogul mit Taksim, Dolma Bahce (etc). Alles in 15-20min Fussdistanz. Die Tramstation liegt etwa 3min Gehdistanz... Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert: einfach, preisgünstig, sehr liebe Leute.

This was the best turkey hotel yet! The hospitality was next level, they were so accommodating we had an extra person and they readjusted and gave us a bigger room! Booked us the hamam and helped with airport pickup and drop off

Sent me to a cheaper and worse hotel!
I arrived to the hotel being closed for fumigation! I was taken to another hotel, nowhere near as nice and they charged me the same amount of money for a room which was clearly inferior. Honestly, I wouldn't approach this hotel with a bargepole.

We have been staying here since we first came to Turkey in 2015. They have gone out of their way to look after us every time we come here. We have been here more than 12 times. We now bring our friends here and they like it as as much as we do.

Located within walking distance of all the top attractions of Istanbul such as blue mosque, hagia sophia and all the bazaars. The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would recommend.

The manager and staff are very friendly, accommodating, and overall very helpful in explaining things about the city and what to watch out for. The breakfast is a little repetitive but they have a decent amount of options to choose from. The coffee is pretty good and the view is nice from the dining roof deck. The rooms themselves are relatively clean with some quirks like squeaky doors or some minor smell from the plumbing fixtures, but the air conditioning is good. The bathrooms are a little small, but that's the norm with boutique hotels. The beds were comfortable, and I had no problems getting a good night of uninterrupted sleep. The location is in a good spot for access to historical sites, the grand bazaar, and a bunch of restaurants. Walking the city at night is a safe and totally different experience than in the day, especially in this area. Overall I would recommend this hotel and staff for any first timers to istanbul.

Hôtel parfaitement situé, un personnel très sympa
Notre séjour a été très agréable. L'hôtel est vraiment situé en plein centre des principales attractions historiques d'Istanbul. Nous avons eu la chambre exactement comme nous l'avions réservé - pour 3 personnes avec 3 lits simples. L'hôtel est bien entretenu, tout est propre. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse sur le toit est une expérience merveilleuse. En particulier, je tiens à remercier le personnel - très sympathique, serviable et précis - les transferts ont été parfaitement organisés, ainsi que l'excursion en bateau le long du Bosphore. L'hôtel a totalement répondu à nos besoins. Bravo et merci !

This hotel is a great location for seeing all the sights within walking distance. And trams buses are also local and easy to use. Nice terrace for breakfast. The hotel is budget hotel, so do not expect luxury. However the rooms are clean. The staff were very helpful and cheery.

You pay for the location of the hotel that’s it
The hotel room was very rundown and in a dire need to be fixed up. The glass wall in the room was booked. There was no clothes hanger so no place for jackets or overcoats. There was no table in the room to put down a suitcase, new towels or anything else - the only place was 2 small bedroom tables. There was no trash can and i felt bad just to leave empty water bottles on the floor but no where else to put them.? The sink in the bathroom was broken. The paint on the bathroom cabinet was piling off and there was no toilet paper holder made it very unsanitary. Worse of all there was fungus and water damage all over the shower cabinet and a very uncomfortable smell from that. The shower head was also very short so I being 188cm did not fit underneath it. The first thing the hotel host asks me when I check in was if I wanted to pay to go on trips or if I had plans for new years because I could pay him to go for a new year party. The next morning at breakfast an other male hotel host was fight with I assuming a cleaning lady in the breakfast area in English about him having sex with another girl the night before, her being “a very jealous woman” and how he did not care at all! so maybe not so much a family friendly hotel!
