Strålande service och läge men lite slitet
Servicen var toppen och läget kanon! Däremot var rummet lite mer slitet än vad jag väntat mig, terrassen låg under mark och det låg hårstrån i badkaret när vi kom. Det åtgärdade dem snabbt men dessvärre funkade inte bubbelbadkaret. Det var dessutom rätt så lyhört.

Trevligt hotell
Vistelse var jättebra. Hotellet var fint, rent, nära Sultan Ahmet och den gamla staden. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukost var jätte god och Personal som har ansvar för det var mycket trevliga och snälla. Vi kände oss mycket välkomna. Rekommendera för alla som vill ha trevlig vistelse i den gamla staden i Istanbul. Mycket tacksam för alla personal där. Med Vänliga Hälsningar/Cihat

Fint hotell med fantastisk frukost och läge!
Ett mycket fint samt väldigt rent hotell. Älskar den bohemiska stilen hotellet har. Hotellets läge är perfekt. Det är nära till alla turistattraktioner men ligger samtidigt på en väldigt lugn plats. Finns både restauranger och butiker som är lite billigare vid hotellet än vid alla turistattraktioner. Frukosten och utsikten från terrassen är fantastisk precis som personalen som är väldigt trevliga och gav bra service. Fick både hjälp med bokningar och information. Det enda negativa var att vi inte fick tillgång till det rum vi faktiskt hade bokat första natten. Vi blev dock kompenserade med en gratis shuttlebus resa till flygplatsen. Skulle absolut rekommendera detta hotell.

Trevligt hotell med mycket service-minded personal
Litet hotell (tror det var bara tolv rum) med bra läge i Sultanahmet; max 5-10 minuters promenad till Stora basaren, Hagia Sofia, spårvagnshållplats och Blå Moskén. Sisådär standard med hårda sängar och tråkig innergård, men mycket trevlig personal. Rekommenderar nog generellt att istället bo i nya delen av stan (Beyoglu eller Galata), där merparten av de bra restaurangerna finns. Sämre med sådana i Sultanahmet, vilket man hellre kan besöka över dan med spårvagnen.

Enda problemet löstes tack vare hotellpersonalen
Enda problemet med resan var vår transfer från flygplatsen, vilken enl vårt resedokument skulle vara inräknad i priset, men det visade sig att vi kommit till en annan flygplats än den som erbjudandet gällde. Tack vare vänliga människor på flygplatsen och en mycket tillmötesgående hotellpersonal löste det sig ändå. En stor eloge till hotellet! Researrangören borde vara tydligare med informationen.

this property is located near all attractions and is within walking distance to Grand Bazar and Blue Masque and many others. I had made the mistake of choosing a standard room and wanted a room with a view and the owner made sure that we got what we wanted. They were very accommodating . Our room was perfect with the most beautiful view. Morning breakfast was also wonderful with perfect view. Will definitely return again and highly recommend this hotel.

Muyan is a small family-run hotel with very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for six nights. Haci, the owner, greeted us every morning at breakfast offering omelets and Turkish coffee. We were pleasantly surprised to find a demi bottle of local wine with a nice thank-you note when we returned to our room on our last night there. When we checked out to move to another hotel where we were to begin our organized tour package, Haci's sister gave us a ride to the hotel. All in all we received excellent services over and beyond what we would normally expect. Our appreciation goes to the entire staff and, in particular, to Haci, Haci's sister, Mr. Hamsa, and Brak. We will stay at Muyan again!

All staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. Our thanks to the hotel owner Haci Simsek who was personally on hand every morning to serve us breakfast. The hotel was kept to high standards. Also, the receptionist staff was very helpful and always available to assist with any queries. Highly recommended

The staff/owners went way out of their way for every single guest. What a fantastic place to stay if you’re in Istanbul. Probably the best place to stay in Sultanahmet
I stayed in a family suite from Dec 15 till 21, 2023. Right from day 1 till the end of the stay, the entire experience was superb. Every staff of the hotel including the owner was so helpful and ensured personal interaction daily. Every small matter was taken care of. For ex: The owner handed over his travel card to me for the local transport (TRAMs) for daily commuting and also helped to plan the itinerary. The location of this hotel is superb and just a few minute's walking distances from all the tourist attractions within this area. The breakfast spread was simply too good and the delicacies were mostly Turkish and very well presented and prepared. Turkish tea and coffee were a delight. The view of the bay from the room was breathtaking.

This is a very affordable, old style European hotel, located within walking distance to the main attractions of Istanbul's old city. It is almost invisible on its narrow street, but the interior is nicely appointed, and bathrooms modern. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and will help you with transportation, or directions to other parts of the city using the mass transit system, which can be accessed within a few blocks. American travelers may find the style of this hotel quaint--it's not a Holiday Inn, OK?, so don't expect one--but it felt luxurious to us, especially when we went to breakfast on the 4th floor, with its terrace that overlooks the opening of the Bosporus onto the Sea of Marmara. The included breakfast is an amazing array of baked goods, cheeses and olives, and other goodies, as well as eggs and breakfast meats. Staff will offer you an omelet, or to bring you Turkish coffee instead of the standard drip brew which was ready to serve as well. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will certainly be checking in with this place first--but don't delay, they have only 8 rooms at any given time.

Small boutique hotel close to the main commodities less than 5mn walk (Tramway station, restaurants and supermarket). The blue mosque and Hagia Sophia within 5mn walk as well. The owner is amazing, very helpful and would do what it takes to ensure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. If you like to support local and small businesses, the Muyan suite is the way to go.

Location: convenient to the 2 main mosque attractions , safe, away from main thoroughfare so it’s not noisy; also walkable to tram station (about 15min). Food: breakfast was generous and fresh; lots of local eateries with fair pricing. Service: warm and sincere; the owner, Mr Simsek, hosted us personally during breakfast and was ready to assist us navigate the area. Most thankful. Overall a fabulous boutique hotel.

We stayed 8 nights at the Muyan hotel. it is very well located for exploring the city in general, with the proximity of the Tram. It is a very clean establishment, with all the staff pleasant and smiling. Fatima prepares a very good breakfast and the waiter takes great care. Hamza will always be there to advise you, in French if necessary. We had a very good stay in Istanbul. One detail, the first night, we had reserved the "economy" room, to be avoided because it is noisy. Hamza quickly found a solution by changing rooms for us. We recommend this hotel.

We had the best room suite 301. Could see the coastline. Owner and staff went over the top to help us getting a taxi. Very important if you are travelling short distances. Breakfast was terrific. Great experience in a small suite hotel which is centrally located around major sites.
