Small Boutique Hotel with friendly service
Great place to stay, small hotel with large suites located close to all the attractions of Sultanahmed. Warm welcome on arrival with tea coffee and turkish delights in room. Great local knowledge, very friendly staff, clean rooms with beautiful antique features. simple mini bar and simple Turkish breakfast which is served at anytime, AC and cable TV 1000+channels but not much in english. big spa bath with lots of warm water. Free wifi with fast connection. Would definately recomend this place. Great value for money

We really have a very good time in this suite, we can have good time rest while traveling just like home. Here we would like to thank Deniz, his care and hospitality from the first day we met him to the last day he arranged a car to send us to airport. We enjoyed very much of our daily conversation with him. We also would like to thank Sweet who prepared delicious meal for us every morning, her kindness, her diligent and her bright smile touch us. Thank you, thank you all to make our Istanbul trip be special and wonderful! Also the location is very convenient to access to many sites, mostly are walkable distance.

We lucked out when we checked in this beautiful villa. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast had a lot of variety. Deniz, the host was incredible. He went above and beyond with his hospitality - recommending all the must sees on the map to personally showing us around to the Princes Islands, evenings spent playing backgammon and learning all about Turkish culture. We were absolutely gutted that we didn't spend more time at the place. I would go back to Istanbul just to spend time with Deniz, the host.

Great Location and a lovely host
We chose this place due to location for old town which is excellent. It is walking distance from all the major attractions in old istanbul and we did not need to use a taxi once. It is a traditional house converted into a hotel and so it is comfortable, quiet and clean. Deniz the owner was a pleasure to meet. He is very helpful, polite and full of knowedge with regards attractions and restaraunts etc. Breakfast is basic but everything you need to get your day started. The AC kept the room cool which was bery useful in mid August. The rooms are traditional and clean as opposed to modern and lush but they are large and very accomodating. If wtaying in istanbul for a few days and need a good location for the old town I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great stay
As soon as i arrived Dennis the manager welcomed me in a friendly manner , upgraded my room and advised me about istanbul . The rooms are decorated in a "shabby chic" style with interesting antique pieces . Room was lovely clean and quiet with a lovely comfortable 4 poster bed . Miss Tanya the Breakfast lady was very friendly and helpful . I liked it so much i stayed an extra night ! Thank you Dennis and Miss Tanya !

Köpeğimle seyahat ettiğim için çok seçeneğim olmuyor ve biraz mecburen burayı seçmiştim. Ama ailecek hayran kaldık, çok memnun ayrıldık. Konum olarak çok güzel yerde ( amacınız seyahat ise ) , odalar antika dükkanı gibi hoş bir tarzda ve geniş, konforlu. odada duş malzemelerinden, su ısıtıcı ve kahveye kadar herşey vardı. görevli hanımefendi güleryüzü ile bizi sanki evinde misafir etmiş gibi hissetirdi. bundan sonra başka otel aramaya gerek yok . tek sıkıntı belki otopark olabilir ama zaten bu mahallede bunu beklemek hata olur

Wonderful... Excellent geographic situation, the service was excellent, thanks to Mr Maksoud who was helpful and to Mr Denis who gave us an excellent presentation of the area and its history. He gave us lots of tips and good plans for our visit. I recommend it.

Everything was up to Par for me.. Room, Staff, attraction info, Location and breakfast.. Had a late flight and was allowed to check out late.. Very good people, very quiet rooms.

Das für uns reservierte Zimmer war nicht für vier Personen geeignet obwohl ich vorab in einer Mail den Chef zusätzlich informiert habe. Schimmel gab es im Badezimmer und der Safe war defekt ( in beiden Zimmern). Frühstück wurde im Büro serviert , während der Chef lautstark telefonierte. Er meinte das würde den Gäste so gefallen, weil es einer familiären Atmosphäre entspräche. Es gab kein separaten Frühstücksraum! Nachdem wir uns mehrmals beschwert haben, konnten wir in ein größeres Zimmer umziehen, aber erst nach der zweiten Nacht. Personal war freundlich. Das zweite Zimmer gut und so wie wir das bei der Buchung erwartet haben.

Absolute Katastrophe
10min nachdem wir eingecheckt sind, haben wir das Hotel sofort verlassen obwohl es Nachts war. Die Zimmer stinken sind dreckig und es hat überall Schimmel an dem Wänden. Es ist alles andere als ein 4 geschweige den 1 Sterne Hotel.

Es gibt in diesem Hotel nur 4 Zimmer. Wir hatten eine Wohnfläche von 45 qm, es war doch sehr gemütlich. Sauberkeit naja, es geht.

Rezervasyon yaptığımızda yazılan ve görsellere fazlaca inanmışız. Maalesef yalnızca hayal olarak kaldı. Birde otelin sahibi olduğu sonradan öğrendiğim beyefendi ve arkadaşlarının rakı balık muhabbetini canlı yayında dinlemek zorunda kaldık gecenin bir vaktine kadar...Hiç hoş bir durum değildi...... Kahvaltı vasatın altında.

Bad breakfast, Bad Wi-Fi, no AC in one room of suite, Manager agreed on price of airport transfer and then demanded more. Manager demanded money for Dinner on arrival date even though it was included in our deal.

Great location, close to many sights
It is a small but great place, very close to the main sights. The breakfast was good and the staff super friendly (not much English but it was not problem at all). The only inconvenient we had was during the check-in, there was nobody at the property. The staff of the hotel in front opened the door and room for us, but it was frightening at the beginning until we started asking around and were helped. I need to clarify that we arrived late (fly delayed), by 11pm and we didn't notify the hotel about that. I highly recommend this great hotel, we will definitely go back if we return to Istanbul.

In fact, I booked in this place because of the good comments that I read also because of the beautiful pictures of the room in the site, but when we reached the place at noon they took us to another building which as they said belongs to the same hotel but we sow that this is another hotel with another titel and lowest value and they let us wait in the reception for more than one hour because they have not any idea of our reservation. We realized that they cheat us, but we couldnot do any thing because I paied the money when I booked and there is no way to returne the mony back then we stayed for 3 days then we changed the hotel to another one close to it with better price and better services.

Great value in Sultanahmet
Great place. Perfect location. Nice and helpful owners. A top value in Sultanahmet. We stayed here 3 nights. Large room, one of just 4. Good breakfast includes a freshly made cheese omelette if desired. Just a few hundred meters from the Blue Mosque, dozens of restaurants and shops. Recommended.

Cozy room out of the way by the Blue Mosque. Walking and Metro is a must. Buy an Istanbul metro card. If you want night life this is not the area. Quiet at night. Not many English channels on TV.

Lite koselig hotell
5 dager på dette hotellet. De første 3 dagene var vi alene på hotellet. Først av alt: Balkonger! Det finnes ikke på hotellet selv om det står dette i beskrivelsen. Det var en liten nedtur, da det var derfor vi valgte hotellet. Da vi kom fikk vi rom i 1. etasje. Vi ligger å ligge med åpent vindu (ref: balkong!), så vi spurte om å få i andre etasje istedet. Betjening fikset dette greit. Begge rom var romslige og grei standard på. Dog noe smakløs design. Betjeningen er førsteklasses og veldig hjelpsomme. Dessverre er betjening dårlig i engelsk. Grei frokost, men så heldig å få den servert rett utenfor hotellrommet på egen platå. Alt i alt; greit hotell til rimelig pris. Men burde ikke hatt 4 stjerner, mer 3 stjerners. Likevel verdt prisen.

Kleine Villa in der Altstadt
Das Hotel liegt sehr nah an die Moscheen (Blaue und Sofia), Grand Basar usw., also alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber schon in die Jahre gekommen (Bad riecht ziemlich stark). Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Es ist eher Familienbetrieb, alle nett und sprechen sehr gut Englisch.

Clean, spacious, wonderful staff, superb breakfast
Having stayed in other guest houses in Istanbul, this guest house stood out in many ways. It did not feel like a hotel, but more of a home-stay. Upon arrival, the host took extra time to welcome us and gave us a list of things to see and places to eat. Our room was very spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated with antique pieces of furniture. The foam mattress bed was very comfortable and provides great sleep. The bathtub/jacuzzi was a bonus. It also includes a full-blown Turkish breakfast. The main host and the night host spoke both English and Russian. If we return to the historic section of Istanbul, this will be at the top of list of places to stay.

La posizione di questo B&B è davvero eccellente: a cinque minuti a piedi dall'Ippodromo Romano fa si che importanti luoghi di Sultanhamet si possano visitare nel massimo comfort. Le stanze sono delle suites, molto grandi per lo standard di Istanbul. Al top la presenza di vasca idromassaggio. Personale molto gentile.

Small, cozy hotel near Sultanahmet Square.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 days during our first visit to Istanbul. The hotel staff was very helpful, they arranged transfers to and from the airport for us, a wonderful guided tour of the city (which included a visit to a neighborhood Turkish bath and watching a local football derby with the fans of Besiktas). Our room was a private suite on the street side furnished with many antique pieces of furniture. Great kingsize bed too.
